Oh what a beauty! I was in awe on how gorgeous the gardens are! Prepare a lovely lunch or picnic, and enjoy a day walking around, discovering breathtaking areas and just get lost in all its beauty. We absolutely adored this place. The house is lovely too. Would love to return again one day when our daughter is a bit older. I'm sure she will have fun running about in the lush garden.

Great place to spend a full day. The house is absolutely stunning. And really big, fully kitted out and has a nice quiz to complete in each room. Staff were very informative. Coffee/cake shop was brill and the gift shop was fantastic for a national trust place.
Some just have the usual book shop but this was fully stocked with magnets, mugs. Plush, handmade wooden artifact, gardening and outdoor equipment. It impressed me.

A few trails to veer off to after you've explored the house and the garden is very well kept full of life with fruit and vegetables.
Parking is plenty with disabled access.

Great location with excellent and varied gardens and walks of varying lengths through the estate. Many rooms to explore in the house with lots to see. Needs several hours to take advantage of everything the estate has to offer. Probably the best food offering I have seen in an NT tearoom also.

Lovely castle. Didn't go inside as we had our dog with us, and it was a hot day, and we didn't want to leave her in the car. So we went all around the grounds and the shop and cafe as these were all dog friendly. Will definitely go back one day without the dog and have a look inside.

Lovely gardens to explore and a historic castle to view. Don't forget the orchard with all the rare fruit trees. Wheelchair accessible grounds, There is a mile without a stiles route that's accessible via the car park. A lovely National Trust site to visit.

Strange, quirky old house which gave off a feeling of eerieness and being watched. However it was fascinating and I loved it. The gardens while fairly well maintained had an edge of not quite up to usual trust standards. This by the way is not a criticism as I know how hard a garden is to keep looking pristine. In fact it suited the house well in keeping up the feeling of a property that could disappear into the ethereal mist. Great day had and all the staff were friendly and informative.

Gardens were exceptional, they really were superb. Staff were very friendly, passionate and knowledgeable and the restaurant was really nice. Great selection of their own grown plants and flowers for sale as well. As regards to the negatives; feel like the gift shop was very expensive, the restaurant was a bit too expensive as well despite it being good and the house itself felt very dark and gloomy inside and the video about this flood they had was far too dramatic and over the top. It was like something from 999 Michael Burke but I would recommend Sizergh to interested people overall.

Lovelyy walks through woodlands ( dogs on lead), good choice of different lengths of walk and terrain . The castle looks lovely have yet to see it inside on another visit. The gardens very well laid out and tidy unfortunately not dog friendly. Good coffee and food served in cafe. Overall Sizergh well worth a visit and we'll be back to visit the castle.
