Absolutely top quality produce and great customer service to match! We went to these guys off the back of a friends recommendation and wow what a place! We were looking for something special to cook for NYE and the Ex Dairy dry aged Rib eye was in believable. My biggest worry was making sure i didn’t over cook it. We can’t recommend Jonny and his team highly enough. Also, we bought some of their sausages, for breakfast the following morning, that good we are them before we could take a pic! ? 100% we will be back for more amazing meat!

After seeing Johnny's skill and passion for butchery at a BBQ masterclass day, I started going to BFME to sample the wares. Everything I've had has been superb. The counter looks so different than every other butcher - no ready meals, different cuts and fantastic advice from all the staff. This weekend I tried a King Arthur's roast to cook for all my family. It was absolutely fantastic. Massively flavourful and incredibly tender. Can't praise the quality of BFME enough. Previously sampled flat irons, bavette, sausages (most of the varieties), bacon, white pudding and chicken. Top quality.

Been the shop twice now and have had a amazing experience ever time have tried multiple products from the butcher , including wagu , ex dairy cow ,chicken, sausages and would highly recommend coming down and trying ex dairy cow the meat is something else if your a beef fan 100% recommend my only issue is there closed on a Monday and it's one of my days off so can't get down ever week, keep up the great work even spoke to the mr farrels him self a very knowledgeable man and appreciated the conversation not to take away from the awesome other staff who work there also.

My first two visits were great excellent , how ever on my third visit now my last the on the Bone Rib Eye Steak had the very distinct flavour of having been frozen at sometime. It was very disapointing.I did the courtesy of visiting the following week for a face to face expanation, this review is now the result, I was told and quite adamantly that it had not been frozen. I am sorry at the age of 73 have eaten enough steaks around the world to know otherwise . With a small peace offering I would have bought other items I seems these days keeping a customer happy with a view to him making more purchases is not a priority .!!

Literally the best steaks I’ve ever bought. Insanely good choice and ageing with some very very special beef eg ex dairy and / or 70 + day aged delivering sensational flavours!

Beautiful pork chop, tender and tasty, these guys know their meat, some people won’t believe it, but the fat is the best part of this chop, melts in your mouth. (Lovely crackling )

If you want top quality meat and service to match, this is the place to come. Johnny is super friendly and his passion for his business and his produce is evident. A top guy! Always enjoy making a trip over to stock up on great dry aged beef, pork and other tasty tidbits and spending time geeking out about food.

What a great place this is with such high quality produce including my personal favourite, their Toulouse sausage. It is sausage perfection, tasty tasty perfection.
The staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and although it's about 5 miles out of my way I'm now a regular customer.
Very highly recommend.
