I booked in with Select via Apple Support to fix my AirPods under Apple Limited Warranty. Select had initially quoted me 1-3 working days for the repair, however after diagnosing the issue they were able to repair the device same day. Select also offered an online repair tracking system so I was kept informed of the progress. Overall my experience was pleasant and I would not let the other reviews deter you from getting repair work done under warranty through this store.

Very poor customer service.
I booked an appointment via the Apple Support app and traveled in from out of town to have my iPhone battery replaced.

Unfortunately I was told that they would need to retain my phone for 2-3 days so that they can order in the battery and replace it. Whilst I appreciate the store’s hands are possibly tied, the process needs to be improved. Booking a slot provides a name and contact number, and it would have been a welcome courtesy to contact me and advise that the battery replacement would require surrendering the phone for a number of days. Alternatively, when a booking comes in for a replacement, could the part not be ordered then (assuming a couple of days notice is given)?
I hope Select can take the time to review their processes and look for opportunities to improve customer experience.

Went in with the intention to purchase a 16 pro.

As i walked in all i could hear was the sales assistant giving their wealth of knowledge to two others on how rubbish iphones are and that samsung are better based upon screen refresh rates etc. He also mentioned how clever he was with regards the tech knowledge. Whilst the salesperson may be correct, I’m not sure he was clever or considered in discussing his views in an appropriate environment of his employers Apple reseller store. So between the reviews posted by others and my personal experience I quickly decided the sales experience and the likely poor future service-should it be needed- would not be a postive one and that my hard earned cash was better spent elsewhere. I therefore turned around and walked out. He continued to chat as I did so without any obvious intention of speaking to me.

I booked in for a repair - replacement battery. I got there and the assistant ran a diagnostics on the phone. ‘You need a new battery.’ ‘I know, that’s why I have made a specific booking for a battery replacement.’ ‘We don’t have any in stock.’ ‘Then why didn’t you ring me to rearrange’ I asked ? ‘We don’t have the staff and your details might have changed’ ?!?!! Whaaat ! I shall not be returning

Salesperson did not know the difference between Apple Watch 10 and 9 despite it being the latest watch. No 10s to display and interact with despite being an Apple premium distributor! Just do your own research and buy from Amazon.

Very poor service. I visited to look at the MacBook Airs and to potentially purchase. I was told that they had all been locked upstairs due to a spate of thefts. They refused to bring one down for me to look at. Surely there are security locks that can be used? I was pointed to the information signs on display. I said that I had got this info. online but wanted to see the product irl. I am astounded and disappointed ?.

Scammed out of a well performing iPad pro. Bought a new iPad in December, great overall performance and I was really impressed, over 5 months, the screen started to become unresponsive, after taking the advice of apple support, I took my iPad to the store to be inspected, I was told I would get a brand new replacement of the exact same quality. Bare in mind I could have got a brand new retail device from the retailer I originally bought it from as it was under guarantee, I trusted the advice of the technician, who I must say, the first technician was pretty good, knew his stuff and ordered the replacement. Upon collection and getting the replacement home, I was very disappointed to see this device had data from what can only be a previous owner, 4 days later, the battery starts to overheat and the charging port begins to start and stop charging. I arrange to take the iPad down the to technician who immediately tells me the screen is faulty because there is a white line running down the middle of the screen. He runs a test and it flags up as defective. It wasn't convenient to have my iPad replaced there and then so I took the device away with me for a few days. I revisit the store to have the device replaced where I'm then told that I would have to pay the replacement fee, I refused to do so because the device they gave me in the first place was defective. Magically the technician puts the replacement through via a different method. I'm then told my replacement device for the faulty one I have been given will be ready for collection in 1-3 days time. I called the next day to check to see if my new device had arrived, I was told, "if we haven't called you to say it's in then it's not arrived yet". OK that's fine, I call up yesterday being the Monday and the 3 days wait period is over, to be told that Apple are refusing to replace the device. So not only have I been scammed out of my original, well performing iPad, I've been palmed off with a defective device that already had someone else's data on it and functions that were faulty in the first place, I've noticed after several hours that the edge frame has been cracked and is bent. After being told not to shout and I should calm down, I realise they've damaged the device. If I could have gotten away with wringing their necks I would have.. DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE.

Tried to get some help to make a purchase yesterday but was unsuccessful the first time. I left after 15 minutes to attend an appointment. I returned to an almost empty shop. The last customer was making his final purchase and so iI waited whilst the two members of staff were chatting to each other. I sat on the stool to wait for assistance. After a further 13 minutes I l interrupted the conversation to ask where the nearest apple shop was so that I could make a purchase as they were, seemingly, not interested in making a sale or offering any assistance. Maybe the purchase of an iPad was low down on their list of priorities , but all he had to do was go and get it from the back as I knew exactly what I wanted. So sad about the complete lack of customer service and lethargy.
