Called up. Asked if they could fix a new lock and handle. They said probably, but I needed to come in with photos. I walked miles in the heat to do this. When I got there, they seemed to have no knowledge of my conversation with them. They said I'd need to wait several days for someone to come and have a look. Waited in today and was told the man who came out was about to go on holiday and wasn't sure if and when he could do the work. I asked if anyone else on the team could do it and was told no. He suggested I do it myself. So it's a job a team of trained locksmiths can't do, but I should be able to manage it myself, apparently! Go figure!
