Great place to get excellent art tuition in a comfortable setting. Price amazing low but beware of going into the on site shop as there are so many tempting offers you may end up like me spending a lot of money. Will definitely book another coarse in the near future.

Easy to find, just off the A1, very friendly helpful staff and excellent facilities for art workshops. Nice seating area for lunch breaks and coffee/tea provided. Could do with more toilets provided! The only access to the shop is through reception and upstairs. I would have thought if it is open to the public it would be better downstairs.

Very enjoyable art course free coffee tea and biscuits on the course but no place to buy food.. Good shop with knowledgeable staff. Lots of materials to buy at good prices, end of ranges etc. No lift so there would be issues if you had limited mobility.

Great subscription for artists and insurance for professional artists. The video on demand section has some interesting lessons from great artists. I found the professional watercolour paint during sale is cheapest across all stores including online. The support personnel over the phone are very friendly and welcoming. Technical online support are also very professional and responsive.

Attended a great workshop with Vic Bearcroft. Would like to have done more drawing (hence only 4 stars) but really enjoyed what we did do and the demonstration. Opted for a tour afterwards which was really interesting. All staff were great.

Anyone who is an amateur painter or artist should join this society. The savings for members on art materials, friendly service, magazine and events are well worth the joining fee. Highly recommended.
