Second order from the metal store. I love that the tubes and clamps are easy to order, cut cleanly and precisely so I can focus on putting my design together. This time I built a washing station in the garage. I also incorporated scaffold boards into my project. I waxed them with Briwax and I'm really happy with the end result.

Got two lengths of angle iron to upgrade my aging trailer. They arrived nicely wrapped and cut to exact length. They are now welded on to my trailer. Very pleased with result. Just awaiting a coat if paint and delivery of two new sheets of plywood.

Reliable and helpful staff. Tubing was well packaged (would have been five stars if cut for me but service is not offered on polished brass - took 30 seconds with a tube cutter). Certainly recommended though and would buy again

Always great to deal with The Metal Store. I never bought the square galvanised tube before, excellent, cut to size and all the fittings are an easy fit. Fast free delivery. There were a couple of grub screws missing, but they came the day after I mentioned it.

Fabulous customer service ! Cannot fault them. From help with the initial design, Kira was helpful and quick to respond. All poles & shelves cut to suit and delivered within 48 hours. We were a few brackets short and these were couriered overnight free of charge. Finished unit looks superb. Would use again !

I needed help in choosing what I needed and received excellent help. I’m very happy with the recommendation given and the products were delivered the next day. So far, brilliant.
However, when I opened the scaffold board it was very mouldy. All over. Inside the plastic wrapping was damp. I wasn’t happy about this so fired off an email. It was a Friday so no reply until next week. Annoying but fair enough. The reply I received told me to sand the wood. That was it. I was disappointed with this and said so. Their resolution was to refund me the approx £8 cost of the board. I haven’t chased it up further but tbh I think this is pretty poor.
I ordered a ready to use product. I don’t have loads of tools. My little mouse sander is taking forever to sand the board. It’s really slowed down my project.
I would consider using Metal Store again but I would be cautious because the advice was good and I think they probably are a good company and I’ve been unlucky.
