Lucy and I were bought a Gin making experience as a wedding present which we managed to book in this Saturday just gone. (23rd Nov 24) we are not Gin drinkers normally but we found the whole experience really enjoyable. It was not rushed and we finished when every one was done which was not set to a strict timing. Plenty of their lovely Gins flowing, lovely local food, an inside view of their brewing facility and a great sized bottle to make to our own recipe and label to bring home. The host and owners Nikki and Jason had a great chemistry between them and the guests. Thanks for a lovely day. Our fudge was awesome, and we will be booking the cocktail mixing experience soon.

I ran a jewellery making workshop here at What a Hoot and it was great. Nicky was really welcoming, Paul had made some delicious food and the gin was first rate!
Everyone's jewellery looked fantastic and the space worked really well for people to make their own earrings or cuff bracelet and relax.

What a beautiful place. Booked in for a Gin tour but liked it so much we stayed for 6hrs, even ended up producing our own gin! I done a few tours and this by far was the best experience we’ve had. A company is made by its staff and owners and this is so true with WhataHoot. They were so welcoming and friendly. This is a must for a visit! Oh and their gins are fantastic too..?

This experience was gifted to me and I wrongly assumed that I would try two or three gins and have a tour of the distillery and then see somebody make a bottle of gin for me. How totally wrong I was. I learnt all about the history of gin and the social consequences of over-imbibing. The owners gave an impassioned history of starting their business and what they have attained so far. Of course I was given gin to try. Good measures of different gins, four over four hours. I think my favourite was the bitter orange flavour. I was then introduced to about 30 botanicals, of which I used about 10 in varying amounts, with clear guidance. I added these to the alcohol and put it on the still. About half an hour later, out came my personalised gin diluted down to 46% alcohol. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to sample it for a week whilst it matures!?
A fantastic charcuterie board was provided to accompany the making and tasting.
The experience was really amazing mainly due to the passion of our hosts Jason and Nicky Crown. I'll have to return soon! Cheers

A hidden treasure in King's Lynn. True artisanal gin made by the delightful Jason and Nicky. We had a tasting experience guided by James, who was very knowledgeable and extremely engaging. Really delicious gins and quite the most beautiful bottles and labels on the market. Well worth seeking out, even if only for a crafty gin or cocktail in their bar.

We had the best time with friends and the rest of our group at the Cocktail making Masterclass.
Very well organised with beautiful equipment and the opportunity to choose and make 3 cocktails after tasting 4 shots, makes you very happy with the results!
There are also Mocktail options if anyone has to be the designated driver.
Lovely team at What A Hoot made it a very enjoyable afternoon full of laughs.

Visited Whatahoot for gin experience for our staff Christmas party. What a fab day we all had. Nicky and Jason were brilliant entertaining knowledgeable hosts. Their love of gin and the brand they have built shone through. We had four hours of laughter, enjoyment with their delightful gins to drink throughout the afternoon and of course all making our own gin to bring home. Cannot recommend this experience enough.
