First time visiting Manscombe Woods and have to say, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It can be steep in places and lots of steps to help with the climb but it's lovely and cool for the dogs. We didn't make it as far as Cockington house but we did walk across the open ground. Lots of routes accessible for wheelchairs and prams and lots of off track places to explore as well as a walk down to the beach. Parking was very reasonable. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Absolutely beautiful setting. It’s like everyone’s fantasy of a thatched cottage in the country and probably hasn’t changed for centuries.

Really beautiful walk on from Cockington. The paths however are incredibly poorly maintained, and my electric wheelchair struggled massively. Tarmac paths are riddled with deep pot holes which makes it difficult to walk let alone use a wheelchair. The paths are very steep with many adverse steep cambers, often with water actively flowing across them so approach with great care. The ponds do not have much in the way of an edge which maintains their beauty but caused a few hair raising moments on mossy wet tarmac.

Early Spring Blossoms to enjoy and feed the ducks while you are there. Safe with lots of space to social distance.
