A treasure of a shop. I have to pass this shop to go to B and Q. 9 times out of 10 I dont get to Band Q because this shop has what I need and at a fraction of the price. Today it was Decorators Caulk, single socket and back box,wire connecting blocks,light bulbs and 10 meters of cable. All of which was fetched for me with a little banter thrown in. Id rather support these little shops they need us.

We went last Friday. They were not open, all the doors and windows are shuttered. The shop next door told us they have not been open for ages.

TOOK NEW CARPET REMNANT FOR CUTTING AND WHIPPING FOR MY CARAVAN FLOOR.PREFERRED TO HAVE IT SO I COULD LIFT CARPETS OUT TO CLEAN,DID NOT WANT IT FIXED IN VAN'.
PACKENHAMS 'REFUSED' TO DO THE JOB EXCUSING THEMSELVES BY SAYING CARPET HAD TO BE BRAND NEW WITH NO ODOUR?.THATS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS GIVING THEM TO DO JOB?! THE SON DUG HIS HEELS IN AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT DO IT? COULD ONLY CONCLUDE THE JOB WAS TOO MUCH FOR THEM AS IT NEEDED CUTTING TO SHAPE ETC BEFORE WHIPPING....,SO I WONT BE GOING BACK THERE...TOTALLY UNREASONABLE...YOU MIGHT GET MORE SENSE OUT OF THE OLD FATHER IN THE SHOP,STAY CLEAR OF THE SON WHO IS UNREASONABLE AND UNFRIENDLY TO CUSTOMERS.
