Had the opportunity to visit Treecycle UK as both supplier and customer. Great to have a look around all the wonderful wood types and tools of the trade. Ordered an item for myself and put one of my clients in touch for a chopping ahead of a photo shoot coming up.

No matter what I need in the way of quality timber, Ben always comes up trumps. I've taken wood to him to cut, both plank and log, and he has obliged, explaining clearly what is possible and what is likely to produce the best results. I've also called him with the very vaguest requests, such as needing 'some wood' for a kitchen work surface and once again he has offered a range of solutions, explained the pros and cons of each, and ultimately provided me with the perfect product. Friendly, knowledgeable and reliable, I couldn't recommend Ben and Treecycling more.

Brilliant place for all things wood. Ben is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The range of timbers available is astonishing and just a quick look around reveals amazing pieces showing beautiful grain. A bit off the beaten track but well worth it!

If you are after an interesting piece of timber from which to make a fantastic table or similar then this is the place. Too many species to list but he has all of the native trees. From small pieces to huge slabs. Also bowl blanks and a well equipped workshop where he can do some or all of the machining for you.
