Booked a 2 hour hack for my daughter’s birthday and it was a fantastic experience. We walked and trotted through the most beautiful scenery. The horses were well looked after and the staff were friendly. We will be back.

Had a lovely experience riding at Bilsdale today. Myself and my daughter had a 2 hour ride. Stunning views, a good amount of opportunities for a canter, lovely horses and a delightful guide. Hope we get the opportunity to come again one day. Thank you ?

My son booked a four hour ride to celebrate my 70th birthday. I hadn’t ridden for over a year and was a little nervous! I needn’t have worried, the staff (Riya and Barbara) were so reassuring and lovely. My pony, Ace, looked after me very well. Both rides were beautiful and varied and there were some exhilarating canters. I loved every minute of the day and at the end I was even presented with a rosette, for my birthday! Thank you so much everyone, I’ll be back if you’ll have me.

Following a recommendation from a friend my mother and I decided after 10-15 years out of the saddle to give it a go again. We put ourselves down as a beginner as a refresher and the staff talked us through everything. Our guide built our confidence and we did several bursts of trotting which was good on this two hour trek. What a fab match the horses were Ruby & April even guided us away from the muddy puddles and put us at ease throughout allowed us to build our confidence. It was lovely to trek through the forest up to views over the moors, amazing location so peaceful no distractions and away from roads even managed to see some deer. Excellent guide talking us through it all, getting us trotting and stopping when we felt it was enough. Definitely recommend for all abilities or complete beginners and value for money for 2 hours.

Been coming here regularly for about a year now and I absolutely love it. The staff are all lovely, as are the horses. The views and the countryside are stunning, especially when the trees start turning in the autumn. Rarely need to go on a road, all the main routes are through forest, fields or the moors. Can't recommend highly enough.

After not riding for 3+ years it was so lovely to return to bilsdale riding centre. The folk are so friendly and helpful, the horses are grand and the landscapes that we ride through are stunning. My mum and I have had the best morning. Thank you

My girls went for a very enjoyable hack in a small group. The group leaders catered well for the varied ability levels of the riders. The Riding Centre is situated in some beautiful countryside and most of the time they were riding off the road, on bridleways.
