Stayed open through the pandemic and kept us going when everywhere else was closed. Really great staff and almost everything I need. Always happy to credit or refund if I find I dont need it. There is nowhere else like it !

Ordered a can of expanding foam over the counter and was charged by Brian and after paying on card was asked for ID which I thought was ridiculous being 27 and because I didn’t have any I had to wait while they tried to sort out a refund over card, poor service wasn’t particularly apologetic about it.

Not always the cheapest but good quality and willing to help with any problem. The phone service desk is also very helpful and deal with queries with a good dose of common sense which is a rare thing these days. Very convenient website and collection. Can be busy and a bit of a wait sometimes at the store but always pleasant, helpful and efficient staff

You don't seem to be able to order in-store. Waited for five minutes to be served but staff were more interested in the key cutting machine rather than serving customers. Went across the road to Toolstation, wish I'd done that in the first place.

Appalling staff. When asking to purchase a socket set for under £30, I was literally laughed at saying you can't get socket sets that cheap. Fortunately for me, Tool station sorted me out a little set for £5. I checked the website after and Screwfix definitely sold what I wanted for my price range, not sure if it was a terrible attempt at upselling or what, but I won't be returning.
