After receiving a number of quotes for structural steelwork for our side return kitchen extension it was clear that not only were Chilcott Metal Products very responsive and proactive they were competitive price wise and very detailed in their approach to the quote.

Once placing the order they stuck to a very tight 2 week time frame to produce fabrication drawings, fabrication of the steel and delivery to site. Simon was hugely helpful and shared and discussed models with me online before proceeding with the fabrication. This was all the more impressive considering the complexity of working with a building over 100 years old that doesn’t have a 90 degree angle in it.

As a structural engineer turned builder I highly recommend Chilcott Metal Products and have already recommended them to a number of friends.

Simon at Chilcott Metal was super helpful and worked with our builder and carpenter to come up with a really creative design for our staircase to fit some very demanding requirements! Fitting was really smooth with no problems, and the stairs have become a much-admired part of our renovation. We've since had another handrail fitted, would definitely recommend this company.

Simon and his team did a great job for us in measuring, designing and fixing our balcony and stair railings.

I met Simon on a job a couple of years ago. I took their number and called them the next time we needed a goal post steel made. They were great, made quickly and a lot cheaper than the usual fabricators we used. We have used them all the time since then for all different types of beams and metalworking projects.
Very reliable and a friendly, personal service. Always kept up to date on delivery etc and they even help us get the beams onto the job!
Would highly recommend.
