Incredible sweeping vistas, wide and grassy hills: the South Downs at its best!

I recommend a mountain bike (or an e-mountain bike) to get the most of the sights without necessarily having to go the whole way on foot.

Clearly marked walking and riding routes, enough people around to feel safe but not too many to feel crowded.

Great place to feel dwarfed by the terrain.

Stunning part of the South Downs and not as busy as other parts. Had a very relaxing walk. Great for all ages. If you are a dog owner, make sure that your dog is on the leash, as livestock is rooming around.

I came here with few of my motorbike friends. On a clear sunny day, you will get a very clear and amazing view. The car park is a little bit tight but still there are spaces. There is an ice cream van that sells coffee, tea and of course ice creams. Its an uphill ride so if you are planning to come in your bike(not motor bike), then be prepared for some good uphill riding.

We went on Saturday 11th December about 2pm. The carpark was SO SO busy but we got the last space in the carpark so we were really lucky. Paid by the parking app Β£3,10 for 2 hours. It was still really snowy and some places really slippery but it was beautiful. Like a picture on a Christmas card. Will definitely return again and do some of the walks / trails.

Me and friends visited there on winter time. There was full of snow and we experienced some awesome views. We didn’t saw the place without snow but I believe it’s a very beautiful place.
