I had the chance to attend Super 8 Stage and Screen School in Guildford in 2019 and 2020, and it was honestly an unforgettable experience. The weekly filmmaking and acting course, which was held every Saturday, was something I always looked forward to. It provided such a creative and supportive environment, and I loved every moment of learning and growing. The staff were all amazing, and Matthew really stood out. He was so supportive and always made sure I felt encouraged through both the fun and the challenging parts of the course.

Thanks to my time at Super 8, I’ve discovered my passion for filmmaking, and now I’m aiming to pursue it as a career. I’m now applying to film universities across the UK to continue developing my skills. I’m so grateful for everything I learned there and will always look back on my time at Super 8 with great memories. A huge thanks to the entire team for making it such an incredible experience!

I love super 8 and as a current student I couldn't recommend it enough! The lessons are so fun and engaging for all levels we are encouraged to come out of our shell and learn more about the industry whether its behind the camera or in front of it. Over the years, I've learnt skills, built my confidence, made friends and had a lot of fun at super8. Matthew has a ton of equipment and knowledge to do with film and acting that you might not get a chance to use otherwise, so if you have an interest in either of the two subjects, give it a go!

I thoroughly recommend Matthew and Super8. My daughter has been a member for years and really enjoys Matthews classs. She has been in various short films associated with LFS, has directed and made short films. Matthew makes the classes fun, engaging and very informative. Highly recommended.
