Daniel did a fantastic job of kitting out our event in London. We hired a green carpet (instead of the traditional red) and large light up 1-0 (coloured in green, perfect for our forest theme). Daniel provided us the systems and microphones we needed for the smooth running of our talking panel. He was on hand all day and evening to make sure everything was perfect, always working very professionally and making everything look oh so easy..thank you ! We worked with Daniel Lay to provide production and staffing for our London wedding.

We found the communication before the event to be fantastic, with Daniel always being available for calls and going backwards and forwards with me on emails for a while before we confirmed our requirements. He was able to advise on what might work well and helped us throughout the booking process to make the best decisions.

The production was great and set up the night before and packed down the night of. We didn’t use one item due to a short set up window, but they agreed this with us on the day and did offer some solutions as to how we might get around it. We then had the AV managed on the night by a dedicated member of staff which meant we could relax and know it was being taken care of. The acoustics in our venue were challenging and the AV tech did the best they could to ensure everyone could hear the speeches! It was a challenging place and they did a good job.

We also hired security staff as part of our wedding was viewable from the street, and they were great - very self sufficient after a pre event briefing. We had no issues and felt confident knowing they were there supporting us.

Finally, we hired event staff to complete event jobs such as serving food, clearing and flipping the space from ceremony to reception. Staff were managed by a coordinator we arranged separately but they did stay on late and complete their tasks without someone specifically overseeing their work. They took some briefing on the day, but did manage to complete the majority of tasks given in their time, and worked very long shifts so we were very grateful.

Overall our experience with Daniel Lay was very very positive and we’d recommend them as a one stop shop for lots of your event needs!
