I bought some metal from this company and had to return it because it didn't fit me. The company staff took the item and said we didn't have the money (£170) and promised to return it the next day. It's been a week and they haven't called. Today I called them and asked about the refund and now they are saying that I didn't return the item. Luckily I made a video recording of how I returned the item and I have a document signed by the employee who accepted the item back. I have never seen such disgusting behavior and fraud anywhere else. How shameful to deceive and cheat customers. Terrible, very terrible.

The whole process of dealing with FH Brundle has been frustrating from the very beginning and still to this date is not resolved. I ordered mild steel components for a small test batch of products. I chose a company I thought to be reputable and reliable as I'd need them to later supply in larger quantities for manufacturing.

I've been been thoroughly disappointed at their inability to fulfil my order, the lack of clarity between their various branches for stock and their courier service for delivery. On numerous occasions I've chased up the order to no avail, weeks later with no other option, I've requested a refund and they seem incapable of even streamlining this process.

For any time sensitive projects I would highly recommend looking for an alternative supplier.

Great supplier. The web ordering service works well and is very convenient plus they have an excellent range of stock with very reaonable delivery charges. The website also allows easy tracking of orders and invoicing makes life that bit easier. Customer service is also excellent and any issues are always delt with quickly and efficiently

Awful! Ordered £2000 bow top railings for installation next week. Agreed to delivery slot which they offered, then they tried to change it at the last minute and I had to insist that they meet it as it was my only available date. As a result they decided not to package the railings properly and so on delivery and unloading found every panel and post was damaged. Tried to resolve afterwards to ensure installation could go ahead. At first they had replacement parts to send out and then again at the last minute, they changed their mind and didn't have enough replacement parts. Ended up cancelling the order which means i have to find another supplier and installation slot. I now have to manage them to collect defective goods before they will refund my money. I cannot recommend the quality or customer service of this company at all.

"serving the trade since 1889" I believe one bloke has been waiting at the trade counter since December 1890 and still hasn't received his steel.

They are helpful friendly people (well they were, before they read this review) but very slow providing the steel and paperwork. Probably worth paying for delivery just to avoid waiting at the counter.
