Having looked at 3 companies for shutters, we found that they were not being produced completely in the UK. Then we found Devon Shutter Company, so we arranged a visit from John, very knowledgeable an informative. We decided to make a visit to the workshop in Sidmouth, where we saw the chaps working on the shutters, spoke to them, and saw the process of the blinds being handmade with real wood, here in Devon. The quality and craftsmanship made us decided there and then this is the product and company for us!
The fitting was carried out by John and his colleague, always with a big cheery smile, pleasant and professional. Cups of tea and chocolate biscuits made for an excellent service, the shutters look fantastic, So delighted that we are going to order three more to complete the front of the house. We have no hesitation in recommending Devon Shutter Company, brilliant locally made product, brilliant service, brilliant guys.

I would highly recommend this Company to anyone looking for shutters. Professional at every step of the process - and the shutters they supplied and fitted look amazing. The fitters took great care to make sure they were perfect. Added bonus is that they make the shutters in their own workshop - UK made is such a rarity these days (as opposed to slow boat from China) and always like to champion local businesses.
