We drove for more than two hours to get to the factory, and soon we realized it was 100% worth the time and effort! We first enjoyed a big breakfast at the cafe. The staff in the cafe were super friendly and helped us inform the decorating studio staff that we arrived late and were still eating our breakfast. We had a wonderful time in the studio. We did not feel rushed at all although we went over-time to finish our masterpieces. There were plenty of colours and stamps to choose from. The tour was absolutely fantastic too. Both Neil and Tom did a great job explaining the history behind the factory and the whole pottery-making process. The staff we saw working at their stations are cheerful. The ladies at the first shop are very friendly and helpful too. Overall, it was a superb experience through and through. We drove for more than 2 hours to get home but it was all worth it. Had an amazing afternoon here this week- we started with the afternoon tea, there was a table reserved and waiting for us- lovely and friendly staff and food tasted great. Then we had our tour- shout out to Lorraine- she was so friendly, funny, relatable and it was really informative. It was so interesting to see how the factory works, hear about its history and to see the amazing decorators in action. Then we went to decorate ourselves- the staff again were so friendly, showed us what to do and it was brilliant to decorate iconic EB pottery with the stamps and colours. We had plenty of time in between each activity to visit the factory shop and the gift shop and we had a BRILLIANT time. Would highly recommend.

Had a really lovely time today on the experience day (factory tour, decorating and afternoon tea) The day was incredibly well organised and the events well spaced out so you didn't feel rushed at all (plus gave us plenty of time for shopping!)

The tour was great, our tour guide Tom was lovely and it was so nice to see the process, learn some fun facts and be able to go into a working factory. The staff were all very friendly.

The painting was fun and relaxing with lots of choices of stencils.

The afternoon tea was delicious and really loved that it was seasonal Christmas themed. The portion size was generous and everything was very tasty!

Excellent value for money, a full day's entertainment. A very special treat, would highly recommend ❤️

Had a great day with the breakfast and decorating studio experience. This was the second time myself wife and I had been here, but first time bringing my parents. Everyone was able to have fun and get into a little competitive spirit with the designs. Overall good deal, with the breakfast being high quality and massive for the price. Looking forward to getting our pieces in the post and seeing the end results.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Fantastic Day at the Emma Bridgewater Factory Tour and Decorating Workshop

Our family—my wife, daughter, and I—had an absolutely amazing time at the Emma Bridgewater factory tour and decorating workshop. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.

Firstly, parking was a breeze, making our arrival stress-free. The facilities were impeccable, with clean and tidy toilets that added to the overall comfort of our visit. We were also treated to a delightful continental breakfast that kept us energized throughout the day.

Sue, our tour guide, was nothing short of fabulous. With over 23 years of experience working in the factory, her wealth of knowledge and engaging storytelling made the tour incredibly enriching and enjoyable. She was friendly, approachable, and answered all our questions with enthusiasm.

The decorating workshop was a highlight, allowing us to get hands-on and creative. It was a unique experience that we will cherish forever. Our daughter especially loved it, and it was wonderful to see her so engaged and happy.

Overall, it was a fantastic day and truly well worth the money. We highly recommend the Emma Bridgewater factory tour and decorating workshop to anyone looking for a fun, educational, and memorable day out. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Me and my mum went for her 60th for the breakfast experience and we loved it!
Veggie breakfast was delicious and after driving from Manchester (stuck in traffic at every turn) we were still served food even though we were very late!
The painting was really fun but just a suggestion to the organisers to maybe put some stencils out on each table as by the time we got to them (the popular ones) were being used by others! We were very happy just painting with the brushes though 🙂
The factory tour was fab and very informative!
Would definitely recommend!

Booked the tour including afternoon tea and decorating studio for myself and my partner’s mum. It was amazing!! I didn’t know what to expect but our tour guide Lorraine was just brilliant. It was so much more interesting than I thought it would be. The decorating was fabulous, as you had already paid £15 towards it which got you a mug, but if you wanted to pay more you could decorate a larger item. Absolutely loved the entire day and honestly cannot recommend it enough. Beautiful factory, staff and products ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Emma Bridgewater Factory. Delicious ‘high tea’ followed by a very interesting tour where we could chat to the talented people who work there. Finally we ‘had a go’ at painting our own mugs. These were beautifully packaged up and shipped out to us a couple of weeks later. Excellent value for money and a memorable day out.
