Popped in for a tour- it was great!

On arrival you get a taster of what they make, it was quite hoppy and smooth, inside the mouse room. You just help yourself to what you want, the staff are there to assist.

I managed to pour six perfect pints, I was very proud of myself.

The staff then talk to you about the history of Joules and how the particular pub you were in was bought in 2010.

You’re then walked up to the production of the beer, right at the top. You taste the grains. You then make your way down until the tour ends at the large vessels at the bottom. A very comprehensive presentation which didn’t take too long at all.

You then go back to the mouse room, just helping yourself to the beers they have, no extra charge. Pork baps were served- lush! My partner had the veggie option, cheese and tomato.

It has a nice atmosphere- drink and enjoy.

Sunday 10th October 2021:

Reserved a table ahead for 4 of us for their Sunday Roast dinner lunch in the gorgeous panelled dinner area. Our boater friends did make it in time for this to happen, phew and just perfect!

The staff were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and welcoming...right from our arrival till we finally left later in the evening.

We had cards on our table with a set out selection of what was available and what we would like and these were used for the staff to go and plate up for us at the carvery food area.
So much better than having to wait in line and go and serve oneself as per normal in other restaurant or pubs we've been to for a Sunday roast dinner lunch, how clever and well thought out....well done Joule's Brewery,  Market Drayton!!!
The 2/3 courses lunch prices were such excellent value and obviously we had the 3 course option...
However, we shared two starters as well as two puddings and it worked out just superb.
The two rounds of starters were "Half Pint Pot of Prawns" on a bed of salad topped with Marie Rose Sauce with sliced Granary Bloomer bread and butter on the side, absolutely delicious.
The two rounds of puddings ordered ahead were the "Lemon Meringue Roulade filled with French whipped cream & Zesty Lemon Curd....wow and what a pudding!
Our roast dinners were absolutely amazing and delicious and I had everything going on the carvery, obviously my plated roast dinner was brought to me at our table on a wheelbarrow...oops!
Coffees definitely were needed at the end along with a wee double dram of Jameson's Irish whisky and a Jack Daniel's too.
Our drinks for our other halves was a bottle of the superb Chilean "Pato Torrente" Chardonnay for them to share whilst us lads had the excellent "Slumbering Monk" real craft ale, two pints each was just needed and utterly enjoyable...

A BIG THANK YOU TO KEILY, ALL THE STAFF, THE KITCHEN+CHEFS....
AND TO DAVID, your Yorkshire puddings were wonderful, delicious and made us another meal the following day...cheers David for offering these to us to take back home to our Narrowboats, you're a star and a talented chef!!

We highly recommend this Joules's Brewery tap/Red Lion Brewery in Market Drayton and definitely a fantastic restaurant pub with excellent real ales, craft lager and great selection of the other drinks too...
Well  done everyone and thank you so much for such an amazing experience and afternoon come evening visit.
Forgot to mention that we stayed behind for the live music session later that afternoon...really talented musician and hopefully we can hear him play again here at Joule's Brewery...

Enjoyed a light lunch at Joule's. A lovely setting and staff were on hand at regular intervals to offer service or to check in on us. Reasonably priced and nice quality and a good portion size.

Uts not about the brewery but about one of your pubs I love joules beer and was over the moon when they brought our local pub in Madeley and what a fantastic job they have done of it but unfortunately you have put probably the worst landlord in charge he prefers the wrong side of the bar and puts a bar manager in the service is abysmal, I went in Sunday dinner and was totally ignored after waiting 5 minutes I walked out , you probably think well that is not bad, but I was the only person in the pub. I so much wanted a pub in the village and it saddens me to say I won't be going back

Go up
