Joanna is an absolute marvel!
So gentle, kind and patient.
She worked wonders with Miss Bonnie and myself, just one session and Bonnie is off the lead and calm and enjoying her little self !
Separation anxiety has been an issue and after one day we are already seeing the results !
Highly recommend her ❤️

We contacted Joanna following concerns about our dog (Luna). Luna is a four year old fox red Labrador who is very different to our previous dog Amber. Amber was very laid back and not afraid of any noises. Luna is full of energy and loves everybody, however she recently reacted quite badly to thunder, cowering in a corner (going into a shower cubicle) and appearing wide eyed, shaking and sometimes drooling. This fear of thunder then widened to other 'rumbling' sounds....the bin lorry, bins being moved, a car going past. We were worried that these reactions were getting out of hand and bit extreme so we contacted Joanna for help. At the time Joanna was very busy supporting other dogs and their owners, but she offered advice over the phone and we made an appointment to see Joanna a couple of weeks later. Joanna then had a cancellation and rang us to make an appointment to see us a week earlier. Joanna came round to her house, met with Luna, and offered lots of advice, support and reassurance on how to 'manage' Luna's noise phobia. Joanna has left us with techniques to try and the confidence that we can support Luna. Thanks Joanna, your advice has been invaluable.

Ongoing Red Setter anxiety while in car, panting drooling etc; Joanna advised me a while ago how to help him so he was more relaxed and a calmer dog while travelling with me; he even used to hide and run away prior to getting in which I thought was him playing, but Joanna confirmed he felt unsafe while travelling.
With a few adjustments on the advice of Joanna my happy go lucky dog is actually lying down while I'm driving; calmer and not running away when I go to get my car keys!

Just had a session along the beach with Joanna and her lovely dog Crawford. Within the couple of hours we spent with her she had reasssured me that our little dog Dennis was a happy confident dog and had given us lots of guidance and tips to help us understand his behaviour. We are now armed with tips and confidence going forward. Thanks a million Joanna!

Met up with Joanna with Rosie our 2yr old rescue and Trixie the Frenchie thinking we would be getting a lesson of sorts on how to “train” out Rosie’s behaviour..
Instead we were greated by a very energetic woman who told us just let her go !
Rosie’s issue was running up to strangers barking and chasing other dogs
So my anxiety spiked to unimaginable levels ..And I initially thought I’ve wasted my time and money
But ….
Joanna had already figured out the problem basically before we’d even met !! How ? Lol 😂
So basically the problem was my anxiety of Rosie being just a high energy and intelligent dog
And my insecurities with her doing what she did meant I just put her back on the lead at the sign of anybody coming close which fueled her desire to protect us more ..
With much encouragement to allow Rosie to just be a dog and after a few “incidents” Joanna talked me down and you could see within an hour Rosie start to relax also..
We had a great walk along the beach with Joanna and Crawford and I learnt so much about how Rosie sees things and interprets my behaviour.. I still have lots to learn and lots of hard work ahead but she is improving with every walk
Thank you Joanna Ian ,Trish, Rosie&Trixie x

Stay well clear!
I'm not one to normally write a negative review regarding a service but this lady has given me no other options.
She is patronising and rude. I booked my pooch in with her due to him being reactive and she had had a cancellation so managed to get him in sooner than I expected which I was really grateful for and paid her the £40 deposit. The day of my appointment we had storms so was unsure if it would go ahead due to the weather which was also no problem. She called me the morning of my appointment and my mum was with me at the time of this so she was on load speaker and she wanted to get more info on my dog I explained how he's reactive to other dogs only on a lead and she turned... she said how it's my fault I'm not making my dog a priority and how I shouldn't have two dogs. She criticised me and dictated me horribly over the phone. Once I left the phone i felt so upset so I sent her a text to say she wasn't the right trainer for me the way she had spoke to me was horrific and I'd never been spoken to this way before and I'd like my deposit back. My mum heard everything and how she spoke to me. Once I sent the text she had blocked me so I text her off my Fiance phone for the deposit back and had no luck. She is an awful lady.
After posting this on facebook it's come to light I'm not the only person that has had a horrible experience with her.
She has been reported and I would recommend to stay clear.

I contacted Joanna as I wanted help and guidance with my standard poodle puppy, Rufus.
From the moment my dog and I met Joanna it was clear to see her passion and love for dogs and I knew I could put my trust in her to help us.
Joanna gave me the reassurance and confidence I needed and provided many points of advice to help ensure that Rufus grows into a lovely family pet.
After the session, I felt both Rufus and I had an extra spring in our step! I am looking forward to implementing the advice she gave to me.
I would not hesitate to recommend Joanna to any dog owner who needs some honest and helpful advice.
