Since 1873! Wow! One hundred and fifty years this independent department store has stood.

I think it would be a shame for this shop to go after surviving wars, Covid and the rise of Amazon.

Walking around the store, the clothes are on trend, the shop is inviting and the staff were attentive.

A little pricey but you’d expect that.

I hope this department store remains for another 150 years.

Lovely independent store. Always enjoy a browse. Shame one of the staff members preferred to posture in front of a mirror rather than show an interest in customers and another was rude about the sizing of a garment which had clearly been incorrectly sized.

Pleasant change to get good advice when clothes shopping. Elliots is a well stocked independant shop with a good selection of high quality fashionable menswear in the basement. Better choice than your usual high street chain store.

Purchased some boots for my wife. Predictably got the wrong size. It was the last pair so they gave her a voucher to be used in 12 months. She went in several months later and found 3 pairs she liked. The staff were really helpful and put all 3 pairs aside for a day until the decision was made. Really good service. I went here as a friend of mine told me she had bought some from Elliotts ten years ago and they were still as good as new. Happy customer. Buy local.

Such a great team! Franki always looks after me and has great ideas on what I will like. It is never a chore to shop in Elliott's. I also think it has a reputation of being expensive when actually they have a great range of products at all prices! Highly recommend!
