What a lovely small house. We stayed in the room Mary queen of Scots which had a private bathroom with bath and powerful shower. Locally sourced shortbread and a selection of tea/coffee available in the room with a double bed which is comfortable. The area itself has a local convenience shop opposite and two very good local pubs which serve excellent food. We then used the cafe opposite for breakfast, again fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. If I was to have any feedback I would say the price was a little much for a single nights stay and we didn’t have shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom just shower wash.

We had a wonderful stay in Studio 2, a really well equipped studio space with everything you need for a cosy rural getaway, including an excellent range oven which we used to bake bread and other local produce for breakfast. It is in a really convenient location for the railway station, local pubs, shops and cycle hire facilities. The contactless check-in process was simple and the host was really friendly and helpful. The local tea and shortbread was a lovely finishing touch. I would definitely recommend and would book again.

Very surprised on arrival . Compact and bijou lovely room clean light and airy no traffic noise despite being on the front of a busy road .Had a lovely sleep in a very comfortable bed .Tea and coffee facilities . Everything we needed at an affordable price would defiantly stay again if in the area

Lovely clean rooms that the owners have put a lot of effort into making you feel more than welcome. Wonderful location with an overwhelming choice of restaurants and right by the station. So much to experience nearby.

Close to the station which is handy and perfect for Covid as it was all accessable by codes. We had the room at the front of the house which is a bit noisey and we were unfortunate with timings as there were builders next door.
