Just seen the manager and friends tried to blackmail and intimidate the lovely ice cream lady in the car park. What a vile way to behave towards a women and child, and what a disgusting way to represent the company

I recently had to order some items for a bathroom renovation and they were in stock at B&Q on their 1hr collect service. I had an issue with PayPal holding the funds so I put a 2nd order in, which then duplicated. Karen at the store was absolutely amazing. She explained the best way to fix the scenario, ensured the duplicate was refunded quickly and got my items to me well within the hour. She was so happy to help and it really made my day easier. Thanks Karen!!

may I mention the lady on the till say 6.pm on Wednesday was and is always so helpful funny and kind... I'd make a detour to this BnQ .
Great service here...which unfortunately in most other stores is very poor 😞

Went this evening to get some stuff for my home painting. I was new to that store and didn't know much about the store. Then I find a lovely lady Julie. She was so helpful and showed me around the store and helped me to find the stuffs I was looking for. Great service. Thanks Juile

Went there to buy some plasterboard screws and houseplants. The staff member was very helpful in assisting with locating the right screws for me and discussing the best way to put up items on a plasterboard wall.
We were also able to find suitable houseplants which are beneficial to an indoor environment and don't require much maintenance.
Thus we bought the peace lily and drain tree which as you can see from the photos are very nice. Disclaimer the planters aren't from B&Q. They're from a website called Amara.

Visited Maidstone B&Q to buy some compost. The bags were too heavy for me to lift, and as I was looking for some help an employee called Andrew approached me, he offered to carry the bag so I could pay for it and then loaded the bag in my car. He was friendly and really helpful, first class customer service. Thank you B&Q!

I have visited this store for years everyone that works here is always 100% professional from Alex that served me today to Andrew,David,Kevin ,Stephen ,Kathy also Haley and Saul on security I have never been in a store where every member of staff treats the customers with so much respect and always courteous approachable helpful and knowledgeable regardless of customers problems or enquiry,s best store ever

Me and my mother came into the store this morning to rent a rug doctor. We were served this morning by a lovely helpful lady who explained about the deposit that IF the machine came back dirty then it would be non refundbale, she also said " you wouldn't believe the state of how some of them come back in like". We cleaned out the tank and it was clean enough on return. However one male member of staff who clearly was looking for a power trip said we wouldn't be getting a deposit back as it was " dirty at the bottom with FLUFF. There was very minimal dust. We took it outside and cleaned it. We were still refused a refund due to " fluff" at the bottom. When we asked to speak to the manager she was equally rude and refused to issue the deposit. I will be contacting head office and the consumer rights because this is absolutely appalling. Clearly they just wanted a power trip and its their way of keeping their deposits. Absolutely disgusting service. I know some people will return it in a state and still try to get the deposit back but there was NOTHING wrong with this. Don't rent a rug doctor here they will do anything to keep your £10. It's absolutely appalling behaviour
