The family-run butcher shop is staffed by a welcoming and personable team who quickly remember your name once they get to know you. Their meat and homemade products are truly delicious. We typically visit every few weeks for some sausages, and there's always a new flavor to try. I’ve only had the Marmite-flavored sausages once because they tend to sell out quickly.

Good customer service but unfortunately I found the meat to be very poor quality.
I always cook a roast on a Sunday (except in the warmest summer months) and my favourite is beef. I usually purchase prime cuts and this week was no different in that I purchased a rolled Sirloin for my Sunday Roast.
Unfortunately it was the worst bit of beef I have had for years. It was tough and lacked flavour - to the extent that most of it went in the bin.
I won't be going back due to the poor quality of the beef, which is a shame as the service was very good.

Sausages are great! Good selection of meat, pies and quiche and much more . Good personal customer service gives pollards the edge! Credit to jason! Family run business.

What a fantastic discovery finding this excellent butchers! Friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. The best beef fillet and sirloin steaks I've had, superb produce (you need to try their home cured bacon!) and superb home made pies. Now a regular visit for me.

This is such a good Butchers shop I travel to get my meat from it. It’s a grandfather and grandson business, and the service is excellent, friendly and so helpful. Used them for a number of years after discovering it by accident, but since then always going back. Whatever we have bought has always been top table and tasty. Great find for us.
