This is a tough one, I gave my son who was serving in the RN an army jack knive from 1945 that my grandfather who was rescued off the Dunkirk beaches had passed onto me. but to lose him and have it returned to me 🥺, so i asked for some commemorative knives to be commissioned in his memory with an inscription and names engraved! I couldn't have ask for a more empathetic service alot of care was taken the knives were perfect and packaged well!

I have just purchased my 2nd and 3rd set of knives to give as wedding gifts, and each set has been perfect. Ben has been a great contact to purchase these, and even suggested adding the wedding dates as a personal touch. The knives came safely packaged too and I'm very much looking forward to buying more knives! I've added photos of the Olive handled knives, which are my favourite so far.

Absolutely superb! I ordered a set of Dymond Wood knives for a 40th birthday present, and I was just so impressed with both the personal service (I had so many questions which were answered quickly and with loads of detail), and the actual knives which are beautiful and really high quality. They are incredibly sharp, we will have to be so careful using them but look like they will last ages and ages if we take care of them. Fully recommend this company, I'm so glad I chose them for a special, UK-made knife set.

Got a set of knives from my aunt who works at Samuel Stainforth for a wedding present... I have a set of procook knifes and other brands, we love cooking .. they are amazing they don't look as good as procook but they are far better and would highly recommend

I purchased, directly from their website, 2 'Artisan' style Steak Knives in Cherry Walnut as a Christmas present and used for the first time last night. What a delight it was to use such a well balanced steak knife that cut through steak as if it were butter.
The design is very attractive and although I thought they were a bit on the pricey side, they are worth every penny.
Don't be temped to purchase cheaper knives that are available from well known online sites, they will never be as good as those supplied by Samuel Staniforth Ltd .
Will certainly be back for more!

High quality Sheffield made kitchen knives. Good response to emails and answering questions to advise on which knife was best to buy. I was even able to make personalised laser etching on the knives for a wedding present, my friends loved it! Great wedding gift!
