Great beer, but shockingly poor and slow service. Every time I go in for a drink the staff are either chatting to each other and disinterested in serving customers or this evening the bar man took 10 minutes to make two cocktails leaving a handful of customers waiting to be served. They can run a brewery but could organise a p**s up in their own pub!

Great bar. Really great bar! Uber modern in choice of beers on tap and on cask. Great selection of gins too. Always seems to have a good atmosphere, though can be a bit full at peak times. I hear they've bought themselves a pizza oven took - cannot wait for that. The main reason to come here for me is the beer though. Craft beer, real ale, in pints, halls, 2/3 scooners etc. a big draw in Macc!
