Was really disappointed this year, wait for the ladies toilets was over 45 minutes, run out of draft beer at 5pm and were charging £6 for a can of beer, total rip off.

We ended up leaving early at 8pm as our group we were with, us ladies all needed the toilet and didn’t see point in staying to then spend your whole evening missing the music and being in a cue. So went to the local pub instead.

Been every year pretty much but won’t be booking to come back next year.

Entry staff rude and 'pat searched' my 12 year old grandaughter. Confiscated apples and crisps then put them aside not in rubbish bins - so were they used by staff as packets unopened? We are aware that food was not allowed but these were small snacks for our kids.

Massive queues for toilets and all food stalls ALL day.

More DJ playing than live music and couldn't hear bands when they did play. Left while Lisa Stansfield 'sang' - as nothing fun to dance to.

We have been to Soulstasia for 4 years now - this is the last time - COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTING DAY

Event team are more interested in making money than show content

Once again a very enjoyable occasion hosted by Ian Reading & Darren Ball from Team Zero.
Big under estimate with the number of toilets needed for such a venue, with ladies so desperate I felt their pain & had no objections for them to use the mens block but security could not consider reliving the situation by still enforcing toilet segregation.
Funfair complete waste of time when toilets could have occupied the space or more food & beverages outlets to reduce the wait time.

My personal view on the acts is do your home work first CHANGE.
This group was formed in 1979 headed by the legendary Luther Vandross until 1981 which are known as the first line up 1980-1981
Second lineup 1982-1985 included the fabulous vocals of Deborah Cooper with Timmy Allen gave the group its distinctive sound & vibe which most of us associate to the album Change of Heart. The sound the melody the vocals we heard on Saturday we must remember ARE NOT the artist from the original lineup but session musicians using the name CHANGE.
BRAND NEW HEAVIES
Once again a notorious group that has replaced its female lead vocalists 10 times, their biggest hits dream on dreamer sang by N’Dea Davenport
Will never sound the way we remembered the track.
LISA STANSFIELD
A solo artist so you can listen to an original exemplary stage presence.
I felt so sorry for her, As the headline act due to the long waits for toilets food & beverage people assumed leaving the venue would be a crowd control issue so aired on caution to leave early which has no reflection on her ability to entertain.
SECURITY
A few of the security team had no SIA on display which is a legal requirement, thats if they are approved.
Young people 16 -20 year olds who had nothing in common with such artists or music genre drunk & fainting with the effect of miss-use of drugs which was smelt during the evening.
Most annoying signs that say NO SEATS BEYOND THIS POINT being ignored.
THE SELF ENTITLED FEW = those who park in disabled bays with NO blue badge = those who park in mother & toddler bays with no kids or 16 year olds = who ignored the signage & persisted to set up camp in front of those who followed the rules & arrived early found their vantage point stolen from those who wouldn’t follow the site rules.
Otherwise a good day but with lessons to be learnt.
Never caught covid during the pandemic at
home now with Soultasia Covid what a souvenir
Cheers
Keep safe !!!

Lisa Stansfield was the only one worth watching. The rest were dire. The sound from the sage was appalling. Toilet facilities for ladies was inadequate.
£30 for a £4 bottle of wine.
This was my second soultasia, there won’t be a 3rd.
Avoid it.

Ladies toilets shocking queues this year, if they knew they'd sold over 12k worth of tickets (which they announced themselves), might be a good idea to rethink of adding more toilets to accommodate ticket sales...as this event gets bigger every year been going for 4 years - also more annoying, line up changed, only found out from a friend there that they decided to put BNH's on first and changed the line-ups, i suspect this was BNH's request, but, not nice when you expect to see one of your favourite bands have now been missed as I was still on the train when i heard this....ended up going to the pub on arrival instead...local travel lodge and hotels taking advantage and price hiking....they wanted £288 for Travelodge...GREEDY!! Lisa Stansfield, Change, Fatback B faultless!!

Not enough toilets for ladies so you miss most of the music/event standing in queues.
Security also obnoxious; female security called a lady a C***. Would recommend avoiding this event!
