My first visit since the site switched to appointment-only. Booking online was fine and the site itself was not very busy at all when I got there. As usual the team were helpful and friendly.

Rolled out a new booking system but failed to tell anyone! Spent an hour loading my car only to be turned away!
Staff were rude on the gate and even had security with them.
Maybe if they’d have sent an email, advertised at the centre about the new booking system, or sent us a letter I could’ve been prepared for the changes that had been made!!

The new road into the tip is a major flop causing unnecessary queuing. The bin wagons use the same newly built single track road into the tip meaning the cars are all blocked by the wagons waiting to unload. Today there was a queue almost down to the ring road whilst the bays to empty your cars were almost empty. Staff were standing round twiddling their thumbs.

The staff here are so helpful and friendly. They always have time for me whenever I have a question about where to put something.

The new single road to the sort it centre has been somewhat problematic. I’ve sat and queued as others have but the last time the bin lorries tried to stay to the right to let the cars come down on the left side. But it was very tight to get round in our car. I do think the road could benefit from being enlarged slightly and having a dedicated lane for the bin lorries one for cars and vans heading over to sort their waste. It would make a big difference as once your committed you can’t leave that lane which is a nightmare.

But I can’t fault the centre or its staff. 😁

Been multiple times, either had a short quick flowing queue or no queue whatsoever. Friendly helpful staff and never had any issues. Guessing the negative comments are from people who don't seem to understand how to register a vehicle or people who can't act nice to another human in the first place.
