I asked Joshua to do a carbon repair and to bring my Colnago C60 frame back to life. He did an excellent job that drew many favourable comments from the Colnago Owners Group (a worldwide forum). There was a lot of very tricky masking involved to retain the original art decor paintwork but I hope you can see that he delivered superbly.

I found Joshua's website on Google. He was the only place in Bristol that did carbon fibre repair on bikes .I had an accident and had cracked the lower rear triangle on my cipollini. I was not disappointed with the service and the repair on my bike, and it looks like brand new again. I would highly recommend his services👌

I have had a terrible experience with this person, and I decided to have my Trek madone resprayed due to google reviews 4.9 .The bike was with him for the best part of a year, and he had the bike back on 3 occasions to be resprayed due to the poor quality of the previous attempt. But after all the heartache and in the last 18 months I have finally had my bike resprayed by LA bespoke bodyrepairs and rebuilt by my local bike shop and the bike finally looks mint . All I would say about my experience is be careful and don't believe everything you read on Google. It cost me a lot of money, time, and a little heartache, but I have finally got to where I hope to be 18 months ago.
The photos are of the job done by LA bespoke bodyrepairs. Reference the owner saying he did a good job, LA sprayers told me it still had it original paint on the frame , they took seven layers off including the two colour he painted it . So it was never taken back to basic once by him .

Took my bianchi xr4 team edition frame to josh to repair damage to down tube. After a longer than quoted time and a lack of communication my frame arrived badly packaged and although the carbon repair looks good (I'm getting it checked through another company) the paint job was appalling! Runs in paint, no facing of bottle mounts; overspray on entire frame and badly blended colour with drips of paint on frame also. Josh did say to send frame back to rectify issues but I have no confidence that he can deliver on this to an acceptable level, I would urge anyone with a high quality frame/bike to look elsewhere. I wouldn't let him paint my garden fence.

Wow. What an incredible experience.
I’d been wanting for years to restore a bike that was left to me by a family member who passed away suddenly. Carbon framed, found in a skip assembled from junk parts, ridden and subsequently damaged (hit by two cars). She meant a lot to me, but didn’t quite match in appearance the sentimental value I had for her.

I was unsure how to restore it myself in a way that would be fitting for the bike…
Nor could I afford the £3,000+ I was being quoted for a single colour of other bike painting firms. I was in a dilemma.

Till I found this page. I read the reviews and after a call with Joshua was definitely curious to meet this eloquent and passionate professional. On taking my shoddy skip-bike into the store it was met with as much love, care and attention as any other. Excitement was shared for what it could be and advice was given that helped me to feel totally at ease entrusting this project to Joshua and confident I had the right man for the job.

No certainties were offered on delivery date, which suited me and was clearly communicated from the beginning. A package and quote was agreed. Colour was decided. Lettering chosen and soon enough Joshua was in contact to arrange a collection date.

I arrived to collect the bike and found a jaw dropping piece of art. I was practically giddy that my ugly duckling had been transformed to the belle of the ball. I love it so much.

The customer service was second to none. Advice on how to improve my comfort on the bike, what parts best to spend money on. A full bike riders education! Then there was the artistry that was performed on the bike; it is breathtaking and I couldn’t be happier to part with my money for what I have received.

If anyone needed any bike restoration/painting services I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend BBR and Joshua! As soon as I can I’ll be back in to upgrade my bike and to get fresh paint jobs for any new additions to my bike roster.

Thank you for everything

Mixed review unfortunately.
I took my road bike to Bristol Cycle restorations having come off the bike and cracked the carbon frame. Joshua was very knowledgeable and helpful.
The repair was carried out within the time frame quoted. Very impressed with the repair, far beyond my expectations.
However, having paid for the repair on completion I’m still waiting for the invoice and despite numerous texts, emails and phone calls, I’m still waiting for the final invoice.
Although this might appear shallow to some, the invoice is necessary to complete a claim and acts as evidence of the 12 month warranty.

My Cannonade Supersix sustained some damage from a rubbing tyre on the rear stay, and I rightfully trusted Bristol Bicycle Restorations to repair it.

From the initial phone call, to collecting the bike, the team were super helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

As you can see from the photos, the repair was carried out immaculately, and as far as I’m concerned, no way of telling due to the colour matching.

If you're unsure about getting a carbon fibre repair on your pride and joy, based on my experience, you can have complete confidence in Bristol Bicycle Restorations.
