I have been a regular customer and visitor to Grinning Gecko since the new owner took over. And I must say what an amazing shop it is. It’s improved massively since my first visit and Luke is a true credit to community. I travel from over an hour away and it’s worth the trip as it’s rare you’re greeted in a shop with such transparency and respect. From sourcing rare animals, new equipment there’s nothing too much for the lot at Grinning Gecko. I am on my third livestock purchase from here and I am so impressed with them all: not to mention after sales advice too! A well worth trip for all.

Owner is abit eccentric (in a good way) but there prices are alot cheaper than expected and other shops, they also have products that I can't find anywhere else

Want to say such a massive thank you to Emily, I came in today quite upset following a very poor experience and was feeling really overwhelmed and had so many questions about tarantulas (wanted one forever) not only was Emily so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable she is an absolute credit to your shop 🖤 I will absolutely be back and not just for more tarantulas but for all my pets needs! Highly recommend, such professionalism!

Since I came across grinning gekko, I decided that one day to venture in to have a look at first I wasn’t really that fussed about buying a bearded dragon (other reptiles are available) but I chose a beardie as a first reptile… Emilia was fantastic she knew what I was after I held a couple of reptiles one being the skink (which I’m still thinking about) but in the end I decided to go with the bearded dragon… Emilia you have fantastic knowledge and great customer service… if I’m stuck and needing help your on the Facebook business chat for any help and support and questions I may have I’ll definitely be coming to get my skink lizard for sure

A brilliant business and a fantastic experience from start to finish. As beginners we didn’t know where to start but the guidance and support we received was exceptional. Mal and his teams were incredibly knowledgeable and spent a great deal of time answering our many questions. Our 8 year old daughter was desperate for a lizard but we didn’t know what kind to go for. After listening to the advice we opted for a bearded dragon. He is now settling in and we have all fallen in love with him. Love the fact they offer to look after the lizards for you when you go away on holiday free of charge as well. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to begin .
