First of all, the timber is the best quality I've ever purchased, and has been consistently so over 3 relatively large deliveries. Second, the staff are extremely polite, helpful, and professional. And finally, a massive shout out to the 3 different drivers who have had to navigate down our tiny one way street in Bedminster, yet always seem cheerful and not at all bothered! Couldn't recommend Robbins enough.

My first time using Robbins Timber, Wow I was extremely impressed with their customer service and level of knowledge. I was requiring native hardwoods for a wood turning project I was undertaking. I worked with Arran at Robbins Timber over a period of a couple of weeks figuring out the timber sizes and cutting list. At every stage nothing was too much trouble and the timber that was delivered saw absolutely beautiful. Without hesitation I would highly recommend Robbins Timber and their staff.

Great timber merchant. Competitive prices and fantastic service. Worth the drive to the other side of Bristol!

Updated: Still a great timber merchant, but due to health & safety issues, they no longer cut timber to length. Not a problem if they have the length you want, but if you want shorter lengths, you may be out of luck!

Brilliant service! Went in a little apprehensive about my ambitious (not) DIY shelf plans and the girls there were so sweet and approachable. For someone totally unfamiliar with timber yards and the trade lingo I walked out feeling like Handy Andy. So yeah, if you have no idea where to start but need some wood.. defo go here before Jewsons or Wickes.

Only company in UK to stock the Edwardian picture rail profile I needed. Very helpful on email and on the phone. 10+m arrived in Swansea exceptional well packed and in great condition. The timber was knot free and very well machined with no drop off on the ends, great product and fair pricing will definitely come back.

Excellent service. Despite being overwhelmed with orders and understaffed, Gordon was able to process my order quickly and arrange a fast delivery. The quality of the timber is excellent. I have many projects planned so will definitely be using them again!!
