I purchased a brand new car from this garage on 14th January 2025 & the experience, aside from Nicholas being pleasant to deal with, has been diabolical - particularly in terms of ā€˜after care’.

Within a week of having this new & expensive car, the drivers seat showed signs of excessive creasing within the first 7 days, which is a clear quality issue considering I’m not a large man. The seat lacks internal padding which is obvious by both touch & feel.

After two weeks of having the car, with a mere 1,034 miles on the clock (showing how little time I’d been sat in it), I notified Mercedes & their first solution was to use heat treatment on the seat… although they did say the problem would soon repeat, which leads me to question why they don’t just replace the seat.

I took the car to them on 18th March (had to wait for a new heat gun, apparently) for treatment & received a call to say that the procedure had been carried out & the car was ready to collect… only to open the door & see the seat exactly as it was prior.

I’m now being told that to have the trim re-fitted, I’ll have to pay for it. This is totally unacceptable, especially when I’m not even sure whether the trim being re-fitted would solve the issue, given it seems more like an issue with the seat itself & a lack of interior padding/support.

To buy a £90,000 car from a supposedly premium brand, which should include a premium product & service, including aftercare, and be in this scenario is a joke.

Least of all when they know I’m interested in buying another expensive vehicle from them in the near future!

Next step will be a visit to the dealership, so I apologise in advance for anyone present whilst I’m there.

After 8 long years of unnecessary suffering with my old car, i finally took a step in the right direction to buy a great car. I visited the Mercedes showroom in Southampton, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional! I went into the showroom to view only and made a decision to buy a beautiful vehicle while i was there!
From the moment I walked in, I felt valued and well taken care of. A special shout-out to Tamara Taylor, who made buying my first Mercedes an unforgettable experience. Her professionalism, car knowledge , attention to detail, friendliness, and genuine passion for helping customers were remarkable.
The entire process was seamless and incredibly efficient—far beyond my expectations. Tamara guided me through every step, answering all my questions with patience and expertise, ensuring I was confident in my choice.

The speed and smoothness of the transaction were impressive, leaving no room for stress or uncertainty. If you're considering a Mercedes, I highly recommend this showroom and Tamara in particular. Thank you for making this milestone so special!
The timing was also memorable as it coincided with my birthday, and Tamara surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers to celebrate both occasions !

Highly recommended to anyone looking for a premium experience!

I'd been thinking about a change for a while and was surprised to find the car I wanted in the exact colour and specification locally. From first contact Ben and his colleagues were personable, polite, friendly and responsive by phone and in person. You really want these guys on your Team - throughout my interactions I was met with honesty, transparency and integrity. No information was omitted, no query ignored. Communication between team members was clearly joined up and seamless. Ben ensured all aspects of the sale including handover were pleasant, smooth and straightforward. Cannot recommend this dealership enough! I was looking for an approved used C class estate for my new family car. I turned up out of the blue but Holly made the time to talk me through the C class they had there, even with my 2 year old daughter jumping around. She booked in a test drive the following day and allowed the time for us to make sure our car seat would fit. No pushing or pressure to buy - a genuinely pleasant experience.
Absolutely brilliant change of pace to other dealerships who only look to get a quick sale.

I recently started using Mercedes’ subscription service and had my first service appointment for my car. Claire, our advisor, was fantastic—she kept us informed every step of the way and ensured everything went smoothly.

When I couldn’t make it back to the dealership in time to pick up my car, Claire kindly offered to let us keep the loan car overnight. This level of flexibility and service was incredibly helpful!

I highly recommend trying out Mercedes’ subscription service. It’s been a great experience so far!

I have collected my approved used GLE 350 today. The whole process was entirely done remotely, on-line, since I am living in London. I want to thank Wade Turnbull, who picked up my interest request that I have submitted via Mercedes website. He relentlessly accommodated all my requests during the process. I would definitely recommend that you check the car you want to buy in-person, for any bits or bobs that might be missed by the agent, the process is not flawless, but given my busy schedule, I had to trust the integrity and honesty of Wade and Mercedes. I was happy with the support given by Wade and again want to thank him for the amazing experience.

Excellent dealership, very pleased with the new wheels. Paperwork was endless and I must have signed about 40 things over the course of initial visit, emails, and pickup which is excessive…. Need to take a leaf out of Tesla’s book where the whole car was bought in under 10mins with 2 signatures! Other than that, super happy.
