Restored my faith in hairdressers after many bad experiences with other places! They were so lovely from the communication, free consultstion and appointment. When I wasn't sure about somthing they talked it through and came to a solutions that worked really well. Would fully recommend, reasonably priced and felt like a real pamper, they went above and beyond

My first experience with the lovely girls at The hair exchange, such a beautiful unique salon and friendly atmosphere.
I haven’t had my hair cut professionally for atleast 3 years since co.19.
My confidence was reassured by Kelly who was fantastic, with very warm welcome! I’m so pleased with my hair now after some much needed TLC, we decided to go for a cut, toner and balayage package with beautiful caramel tones.
I will recommend Kelly & team to everyone, extremely happy.

So around 10 months ago I contacted Kelly as my hair with a previous well known hairdressing salon had ruined my hair on numerous occasions, as a loyal customer I stuck with them. Although they tried to rectify it, they just added more products and toners to hair that was becoming more damaged each time. It was in very bad condition. I didn’t know where to turn.

I had a consultation with Kelly who said I needed to get my hair in better condition prior to my first appointment in a months time and suggested a repair product that helped immensely which you spray on after shampooing and then rinse after 10 minutes.

Fast forward 10 months, using good repair products and listening to your hairdresser plus a bleach test my hair no longer sheds, it’s glossy, healthy and long.

So just a big appreciation to a great hairdresser.

Overcharged both times I visited. First time they added an extra tenner, but this time have been charged almost double what I was quoted, with no advance warning.
Disappointed to have paid nearly twice what I was told, with no warning, and to leave the salon with frizzy hair that isn't styled or even properly dry (despite being charged extra for them to dry it). Nice people, but not good experiences and no longer feel comfortable going in case they charge double again. Substantial surprise added costs during a cost of living crisis isn't good customer experience, much better to be upfront about costs.

Lovely clean friendly salon. Hairstylists are talented experts.. Love going there can’t wait to see Kelly and pics of baby after her time out. Summer did my highlites really pleased with the result.

Took my daughter to have a trim today and Lucy was fantastic with her. She said she loved it and can’t wait to come back! Lucy also did my baylayage a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. Cannot recommend enough!

I was first in at 8:30 on 4th July and I still love my hair nearly two weeks later; a true testament to a great hair cut! Kelli listened to everything I was hoping for and was friendly and helpful with planning colour.
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff who are keen to see happy customers, I have my next appointment booked and am delighted to found such a gem in the village!
