Dreamland Ballroom for the Terrorvision gig: not a good venue for accessibility. This is a standing venue but tickets are available for accessible seats. The seats are placed at the back behind hundreds of standing spectators - zero view of the stage (see photo) unless you can stand from time to time. Other standing venues tend to have a small area of seating at the front on one side with a clear line of sight. Terrorvision were very good - energetic and some great songs.

We had a fun visit with plenty of rides to explore, especially for the little one. To enjoy the rides and other play areas, you'll need to purchase tokens on-site. There’s also a roller rink, a café with a gaming area, and options like ice cream vans and a hot dog hut to keep everyone refreshed.

Dreamland also has a venue for hosting shows, making it a lively spot with something always going on. During our visit, there was a biking event and a musical show, so it's worth checking their website for opening times, as they may vary based on events. There's ample parking right next to Dreamland, which is conveniently close to the beach, making it easy to enjoy both in one trip.

Hall by the sea to see the rock orchestra. Fantastic musicians, loved it. Hall was warm, no issues with security or getting in. Was politely asked to move forward during the interval by security, but I politely declined. Was asked to put it in writing as it was management's request. I smiled and said if they really wanted me too. I didn't move forward as everyone came back and filled the spots. I don't like crowds after a bad experience so I always stay towards the back. Lovely evening.

Dreamland was spacious and well laid out with lots of toilets which were nice and clean. The food, drink and ride prices were absolutely shocking. £40 for 20 tokens is pretty outrageous especially if you have a group wanted to go on the scenic railway which is 2 tokens each!!
I thought it was a bit cheeky to not let people bring their own food in and then expect them to pay the high prices. It isn't very inclusive to not allow picnics. What about the neurodiverse person that can only eat certain things for sensory and routine purposes, or someone with medical dietary needs? It's a shame as Margate is very hot on being 'inclusive and accepting' maybe they need to think of the bigger picture.

The rides were fun and the staff were friendly and we had a great day overall just remember to have a big breakfast before you come!!

Great venue for live music. Drinks weren't personally over priced compared to some venues I have been to. The only issue really was lack of toilets. Ended up waiting as we would have missed the start of Limp Bizkit as the queues were huge.
Good selection of food and there are rides etc....
Disability viewing access and parking readily available.

In essence, a nice big funfair. Small kids would love it. No tickets needed to enter. Token for rides. Has a large screen area to watch sports, etc. Arcade and toilet area in the main building.
Some staff are not very helpful.
When we got there, a major incident happened. One of the kids' tea cup rides came off with mother and daughter on it. Half the park was shut due to this, and there were no refunds on tokens. entertainment and rides weren't great, car parking is not free.

We went here for a music event in the evening and thought it was a brilliant venue. We were lucky enough to have VIP tickets, which gave us access to the upper gallery area with a fantastic view. Lovely clean loos and overall well organised event. Would definitely visit again.

I had expectations of a proper fair ground in a similar vein to what you see at Blackpool or Southport, so was a little disappointed with how small it was. It's was more of an arcade with an outdoor bit with some rides. Rides are £3 each, the main rollercoaster was off when we went too, so there wasn't a whole lot more to do there.
