This is a lovely award-winning store with incredibly helpful staff who are chocolate experts. I was able to get chocolate better than anything I’d tasted before in a variety of interesting flavours at reasonable prices. This is not your supermarket chocolate! Even their dark chocolate is rich and delightful and not bitter at all. They also have lovely pure cocoa butter bars for delicate skin. Special thanks to Alan! I will definitely return.

We found this local store on Google Maps. Since we like chocolate, we decided to go. When we arrived, we had some doubts because it was an industrial area but there are signs so it's easy to find. We were greeted by a very nice lady who started a conversation with us in a very pleasant way. When she heard that we were interested, she told us about their family business. She encouraged us to taste chocolate. Dark or milky, with fruit or flavour all of them are really great. We tried many types of it. In the meantime, many other people arrived. We went deeper into the store to look at the goods. Like others, we decided to drink hot chocolate here. It was a great experience too. Now I know what real hot chocolate should taste like. Our shopping cart was filled to the brim. If you are a gourmet or simply like chocolate, we highly recommend this loyal manufacturer.

Went there today on recommendation, and would happily recommend on. Plenty of samples, so we were able to buy what we enjoyed. Lots of unusual flavours. Lovely man that served us, passionate about his chocolate. We will pop in again next time we are up this way. Total cost of our bundle £30, which was terrific.

What an absolute gem of a place!

We stopped by on Saturday, whilst travelling in our van on a surprise bday weekend.

We weren't sure initially if it was open, or we were in the correct place, but all the signs pointed to a door on an empty industrial estate, (assuming simply because it was Saturday), and once we entered....heaven!

A lovely lady greeted us very warmly and informed us of the history and what they are about. We were listening intently and then our prayers were answered, .... We could try some!!

The dark chocolate was so silky and not even slightly bitter like your shop bought stuff. It is safe to say our taste buds were on overload with incredible flavours, and our hands were full as we departed with six bags and some truffles for the road.

Thank you for your wonderful hospitality whilst visiting. We can't wait to be passing again! 🥰👌

Would recommend this lovely shop to anyone, the chocolate is by far the best we've ever had and the prices are more than fair. You can try as many flavours as you like before buying (and there are SO many!). All of the chocolate they sell is nut and gluten free (only GF flavour is the biscoff one). The owners are really wonderful people and look after every single customer that walks through the door, no matter how busy they are.

If I could gone a zero or a minus I would have, the woman who was working yesterday Saturday 16th November 2024 was nothing short of rude and completely disrespectful to my family whilst they were shopping for chocolaty treats in your shop. All I can say it was a good job I was not there, the encounter described was little short of outrageous, my wife my was in your store with my son who is 2, and was met by the cruliest woman to work in retail, when asked if she liked dark chocolate she was told by said woman how did she know if she liked it if she never tried, then they were presented with chocolate orange samples, this happens to be my sons favourite and would quite happily if allowed devour a full Terry's chocolate orange to himself, he asked her 3 times using his manners which as a family we try and are proud that at 2 he uses his manners to be ignored by her, to which my wife commented that our son would like to try a piece, to be met with ignorance and was still ignored, to a stranger, an out customer also commented on how beautiful our sons manners are and maybe he would like to try the sample offered to what appears to be the adults in the shop, to again be ignored and she offered yet more shoppers the chocolate orange sample, yet again ignoring my son, thank god Grandma was with the and gave our 2 year old her sample, if you are going to offer samples to your customers that should include the littlest ones also, gifts would have been purchased for him, the ihgnorace and complete lack of empathy for my family will mean we will never come and buy chocolate from this establishment again, we always try and support local businesses and buy local but it will be Terry's chocolate orange being consumed in our house in the future, luckily the ice cream shop down the road knows how to treat customers properly.

For a family run business this is just poor, avoid if you have small children!

Amazing chocolate, fantastic service and extremely down to earth and friendly owner.
any low reviews you see about this about this place clearly don’t understand that it’s more of an experience than a shop, the owner is one of the nicest blokes i’ve ever met and did not give off any negativity at all. he even gave my girlfriend some free cocoa butter for her mother who is ill.
