I'm a wheelchair user, the phoenix theatre in Blyth is a little gem. The wheelchair spaces are in the middle of the front row giving an excellent view. It's lovely being able to sit next to my family. The seats are tiered really well so everyone can see.
There's level access with no steps to enter or inside. A disabled toilet with enough space to get my chair next to the toilet.
Booking wheelchair spaces is done by calling the box office or popping in to it. Staff and volunteers always friendly and helpful.

Went to see Chubby here last night. I couldn't believe how close we were to him but then it is a small theatre which we liked. Great atmosphere and show. Can't believe how well this bloke looks at nearly 80.

Saw Rod Stewart Experience excellent show, but really disappointing to find out that we paid full price by booking early but people who booked last minute got 2 for the price of 1 on tickets to fill the auditorium. Not fair at all!
