What a joy to find this Building Materials depot in Lingdale! The guys were helpful, professional and pleasant. I got there in the car just before closing with some thick wood to be sawn into shelves. Nothing was too much, especially for Michael who got the job done. We had a laugh too and no stress. Their range of building materials is second to none and I am going back there for some Coving and stair spindles rather than to the national firms. A very happy customer.

I have used Green and Son several times to buy and take away , no problem.
Their customer service falls flat when you book a delivery. According to guy on the phone the driver has no company phone to liaise with either you or to his base. Once he is out on the road that’s it , you have no chance of updates. You have lost a potential valuable customer.

What a great store! I needed quite a lot of bits of timber at specific lengths and they were able to cut everything to size for me for a nominal charge while I waited. A first class service and all with a very pleasant and friendly attitude.
