A real gem. Very good quality butchers with loads of choice and such reasonable prices. The homemade black pudding is divine. Staff are really friendly and helpful so it’s a great place to shop not just for meat but for homemade goods, pickles etc.

I love using our local butchers for fresh meat. I particularly love the exotic meats on offer - their kangaroo burgers are amazing, and the goat is a brilliant quality for curries. Cannot wait to come back to restock and try more of their amazing options on offer.

What a great find! We picked up a couple of handmade pies and a pasty yesterday. I'm not usually a big fan of pies, but after trying a bite of my husband's I almost drove straight back to get one for myself. We will definitely be going back here. The quality of the food, and tremendous customer service were both top notch.

An absolutely fantastic butcher which is really worth seeking out. All the cuts you'd want, and well prepared. Also sells local flour, preserves and honey. Highly recommended!

We had a nice Big Sirloin steak last week for my Birthday dinner. It was absolutely delicious. Very tender and tasty.
So i went back Saturday and got some Shin of beef for my stew and spotted a lovely looking shoulder of Pork. Well, i had to have it!
We are So pleased i did! It was Soo tender and tasty and after feeding 4 Adults we can have some tomorrow with Chips and Beans. Happy Hubby!!

I've been coming to Joyce & Lucas for my meat and cheese for many years and I have always had fantastic customer service and the quality of the produce is easily the best in town. Their selection is varied and prices reasonable. If you fancy a treat, go for the stilton and pickle pork pie or the minted lambchops....

Great butchers with good selection of deli and cupboard items too.
Bought a sausage roll this morning.....heated it up once home......it was delicious.
