To potential clients:

Be aware that this company is hiring contractors across Europe. They are posting jobs without compensation information and exploiting contractors’ personal information (you cannot delete your profile immediately). This company pays the lowest rate per minute, avoids hiring skilled interpreters( avoiding paying taxes and insurance ), and refuses to pay them appropriately. If you are paying a premium for their service, be advised that this company is exploiting interpreters with low wages.

Not great. Unfortunately, the pay for telephone interpreting for my language was rock-bottom, equivalent to £10.80 ph. They tell you that after 3 months you can request an increase. What they don't tell you is that if you get a rate increase, you'll get fewer calls as "the system gives priority to linguists on lower rates". So basically, it is not about the quality of your job output but about how cheap labour you are for them. Not recommended.

I have been doing telephone interpreting for DA Languages for 2.5 years now. I recommended to them a member of my family. They always have work for you, they always pay on time, they are ready to negotiate the rates. I am only doing the job part time as I teach full time but I am not going to register with any other company.

My experience registering to work with DA languages was really straightforward, and their staff member Mojdeh was extremely helpful - I couldn't have asked for better guidance! She kept me updated with all steps of the process, and was constantly checking in to clear any confusion. Would highly recommend!

The most untrustworthy company. I'm uncertain about their ethics! This company does not deserve any star. I always encounter payment issues with this company on a monthly basis. They always deduct interpreters' hardworking money and then have to contact them back and forth, but all DA staff are unprofessional and give fake information as if they don't know anything or have no communication with one another! Always book an interpreter for two or more hours, but if the interpreter finishes early, they deduct interpreters money. However, firms cover the cost of complete hours of DA language. DA language really need sort their ethics and unprofessional behaviour!!
