£22.40 total price for all of the items in the photos.

There are separate in & out prices, which makes little sense. Overall the prices are on the higher end, and while the food was tasty it was not worth the price. The floor was also quite dirty, which took away from the overall experience.

However, the sourdough bread is very good - so it's recommended to try it!

Very cozy and lovely place there! Staffs are very welcoming and passionate to introduce their pastry, actually I was thinking to just grab a coffee to energise myself after a long day.. however their warm greeting and the tempting pastry display let me rethink to give a try of their pastry :))))

My very first time to try their signature “croissant” (I forget the name sorry…) , I love the texture.. chewy.. crispy edge, buttery .. mixed aroma of cinnamon and apple.. sugar layered … I KNOW WHY ITS SIGNATURE choice! 😆

Another blueberry custard tart tastes good yet I love the outstanding croissant more 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

I reheat both by microwave at home, shared with family.. to minimise my guiltiness during my weight management period 😎😎😎😎😎

The almond chocolate croissant - oh....my...GOD! I can confidently & unashamedly say its the best patisserie I've ever had in any country. Re-crisped at home for my Saturday breakfast treat it is rich and heavenly. The delicious crunchy pastry layers, the heavenly/devilish thick layer of almond paste run through with chocolate, the generous sprinkling of toasted almonds in the top glaze - to think I almost said no to this ambrosial delight!!
And HUGE - 150g of sheer weekend naughtiness (as a comparison most supermarket bakery pastries are around 75-85g - I know these things 😉😆)

The rest of the range at Gail's is inspired and broad. I had the most delicious squash & spinach savoury slice this week too; like a quiche without pastry - so tasty.
My only comment is that is is a massive shame they cannot warm your food if you decide to eat in. I asked if the slice could be heated and got the amusing answer 'YOU can warm it at home but we cannot here', which made me smile (as I was in a good mood having just bought 3 pastries.) but was a shame cos the slice would have been delicious warm.

That's enough writing - treat yourself, get to Gail's and get a choc almond croissant to go and pop it in your air fryer / oven and make sure there is nothing but a cup of your favourite coffee to disturb you....

Just called in for a quick coffee and I have found an absolute gem! The coffee is really good but the almond croissant is the best I’ve ever had! Lovely staff too!

Have been frequenting Gail’s Bakery Cafe ever since it opened 12 months ago and what a ride I have had on my journey.

I honestly and truly can’t thank the staff enough for their exemplary service on every level and their outstanding hygiene and excellent hospitality. It’s become my SECOND HOME and all the staff feel like family to me since only recently loosing my PRECIOUS BLESSED MOTHER

Chris and Deep the supervisors have exemplary interpersonal skills with ALL their customers and KNOW the majority of the customers Christian names which is extremely rare these days but that just shows the BOND they have with ALL their customers who enter Gail’s Bakery in Alty ❤️🙏

From my own experience for the last 12 months I would EXTREMELY RECOMMEND GAIL’S BAKERY 100 % ALL DAY LONG 😊👍🏽👌🏽💜

Great scone and croissant! Also serve ice coffee!! Tried the London one before but I think the vibe here is even better. The staff was super friendly too. Highly recommended.

After a few times here, the quality and customer service has gone downhill incredibly.
The last time I went, they got the wrong milk in my coffee (oat, not dairy). That's fine,they were packed, and I have no allergies.
This time, it was quiet. I went with my friend, and there was one person ahead of us ordering for herself and a friend.
She ordered an americano for her friend who sat down and got confused and checked if the "black coffee" the batista called out was hers, to which he scoffed, "It's the same thing." When a simple yes or even just a more polite tone of voice as he sounded condescending.
When it came to my order I didn't get a choice of chocolate percentage in my mocha like I have been given previously and the coffee was clearly overdone making it much more bitter than I've had it there before and not as nice. I received my drink, and there were no lids available, and my friend who got a matcha said that it was poor quality as well.
Ended up going to a different bakery less than 2 minutes walk away rather than ordering any pastry as we weren't happy and quickly moved on. That cafe was much more pleasant.
