I booked Moss’ pottery wheel throwing intro class for two of us for a surprise Saturday day out and we left blown away by our decision. There are loads of places you can do this now across Manchester but we were drawn by the reviews of Oliver’s classes. Amazingly the class was just 4 of us, and with Oliver’s close attention and help we were able to make a mug and a bowl in the 2 hour class. He was friendly, gentle and really helpful and we’d recommend this experience to anybody, well worth the money, a perfect date activity.

Had a great time at the 2 hour pottery wheel session! Oli is a brilliant and patient teacher giving lots of guidance and hands on support. The class sizes was lovely and small (there were 3 of us) and we each made two items which I thought was brilliant in the time we had. I will definitely be back to do more!

I booked Moss Pottery for my daughter and a few friends to celebrate her birthday.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed painting pots, and there was a good selection to choose from at a variety of prices.
Oli is very welcoming and friendly. He talked through the process and helped the girls throughout to ensure their designs would come out well.
We can't wait to go again soon. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a calm couple of hours.

Really enjoyable experience booked for myself and husband. Had a great time and Oli was super informative, attentive and just a great teacher. We can’t wait to come back, husband was annoyingly much better than me but I’ll show him next time.. worth every penny and more. Thank you. 🙂

Lovely light and airy studio which is actually next to the dance studio. Great people who work there and a lovely vibe. I found painting the pottery to be peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely go again.
