I have had two children go to Avening Playgroup over the last four years. They have both thrived there and have really enjoyed it.

There are lots of different elements to the play areas like a reading area and kitchen and home area. There is also a dressing up box, lots of things to build, painting and music.

The outside playground is fantastic, with a covered area in case of rain, meaning they can always play outside.

It is a standalone purpose built playschool and I like the fact it is not attached to a school or church.

I absolutely recommend this play school.

Both of my children loved Avening Playgroup. They started as soon as they were old enough and only did one day a week here but every morning they were so excited to go in and they had the best time. My little boy has been on my plans for over a year and the support from the staff was great.

My children love/ have loved coming to avening play group. My eldest asks often if he can go to to school with his sister. Who gets very excited to go to play group every day. The staff at the play group are amazing and very helpful they really took the time and effort to help and work with my little boy’s speech therapist who has delayed speech to start talking I can’t recommend avening play group and the staff enough they have been doing an amazing job especially since COVID-19
