I love The Range, but this Brand new Range in Bishop Auckland is more expensive than the Range in Durham.
I went to get the same vase that smashed and was charging more.
It is smaller too.
Has very large car park.

I don't normally review a store layout but whoever decided this one has totally got it wrong. You are immediately met by the cheap household cleaning products and personal products like in B&M or Home Bargains. Compare to Darlington where you are met by a beautifully arranged seasonal display and lovely objects to accessorise your home. Bishop is closed off so you cannot see into the store, Darlington is open so you can see and plan. I've actually never been to the back of the store in Bishop on the handful of times I've been as there's nothing to draw your there. I always end up at the back of Darlington even though i don't need anything there as its more inviting. The whole shelving layout needs a rethink. Disappointed as i love the Range but would rather drive the extra miles to Darlington than to go here.

I recently visited the Bishop Auckland store and found it quite cluttered with boxes. Some aisles were completely blocked, making it impossible to access the products. I had to assist an elderly gentleman in a mobility scooter who couldn't navigate the aisles due to the obstructions. It seems the area manager is not properly addressing these issues. It's disappointing to see such a lack of organisation and consideration for customers.

(Attached is a photo showing the obstructed aisles for reference.)

Absolutely disgusted at the lack of empathy. Despite shopping there, I was denied the use of the toilets for my 3 year old daughter who was clearly distressed at that stage. Will not go back!

Honestly it looks like just like a warehouse with stuff just dumped all over, the floor is terrible. I bought a couple of things went to the checkout and a young gentleman (that's being polite) served me, no eye contact no interaction, he was talking to his colleague next to him, then handed me my receipt without even looking at me or speaking to me, lovely. It costs nothing to be polite. I won't be back.

Although new and modern doesn't quite have "the range" of goods the older two floor shops have. Much prefer some of the other stores (though it's better than the Durham one)

Don't like this range shop, very untidy, ailes cluttered, staff member I spoke too didn't have much of a clue. Different layout to many of there other shops. I had too check that it was the range I was actually in.
Probably will not visit again
