The most useless pest control company, Mice were getting into my housing association flat, running through my flat in the day, had contego out many of times, first time he turnt up said he had run out of mice traps 🤣 and I would have to wait a week for new ones to come. Even after then with contego coming once every 10 days to put a few new traps down, I put down my ring doorbell in the kitchen, to actually see families of mice coming into my flat at night through the kitchen, taking bait off contego mice traps without activating it. Ignoring contego bait on the floor. Contego did nothing in terms of investigation to see were the mice were coming from. After 2 months of a guy turning up and placing a few new useless traps and disappearing to his next job. With mice still running around my flat, I'd had enough, my furniture destroyed so after some research I went to a working farm and brought a working ferret who had been used for ferreting. That was in October and I am now in March the following year, the day before I got the ferret = mice strolling through my flat. Since the day I come home with the ferret = NOT ONE MOUSE and it's been five months.
Ferret eats raw food, but i buy frozen thawed mice from the reptile shop and hide them in the flat, she finds them within a minute. She goes crazy for them, It's important, this is not every day and only as a treat as her senses for mice is strong. Best bit about it? She's become my best friend 👍🏻 so if your dealing with a mouse issue, a ferret or a cat from a working farm will solve your issue, do not get a cat or ferret from just someones home, they need to come from a working farm who use ferrets for ferreting or working cats who are used for mice in barns usually. Litters of both are always available online if you look. The litters mostly always have the instinct from there parents but I do see ex working cats and ferrets for sale too. Whatever you do, if your considering Contego, you'll have to start charging your mice for rent at your home, unless your mice hand themselves in to contego pest control but with free food on there useless traps, I doubt it.

Absolutely useless, never catch a rat,pretend to listen then after speaking to lying neighbour make you out to be an idiot.Rats coming under fence from neighbour but after her burrows are filled in by her and stones put on top they cone out with no rats that side.The thing is they are coming through stuipid black boxes that they use are useless never caught a rat yet.Dicided after over 10 yrs of neighbours rats and no help or proper investigation I find this company is getting paid for just sending someone out to visit.My opinion is they like to keep the rats alive and dint care about your health or the stress it causes not to mention the amount of money a person has paid to keep the vermin out of my home and garden due to lying neighbour who incidentally everyone believes. even though she has had them running around her home and garden.Trust a company like this never.To be honest if I ever get any in my home I wouldn't have any faith in this company helping at all I would end up worse off so I would get some other professional company to investigate as I have before.

Referred through my housing association estate manager last year for mice in loft in my bungalow, what a way to run a business first visit was told be back in a fortnight heard nothing estate manager contacted them finally they finally came day before Christmas eve, was then told be back beginning of January, heard nothing and despite contacting them, they were told to contact me direct to book, nope they sent message to estate manager end of Feb 4 weeks after last visit appointment was for next day. Then today middle of March with a booked appointment bloke arrives only has no ladder to get in loft he said he had sent message to office to ask if a ladder was needed by no one replied so couldn't do job, so I've wasted time waiting in, got to wait for another appointment.

Daz went above and beyond to help me after a rat caused damage to kitchen cupboard under the sink. He was professional, efficient, helpful and also supported me with Jigsaw housing getting related jobs done. I can't thank Daz enough for the work he has done. Top guy

If I could give 0 I would be doing. Referred through my housing association for pigeons nesting in my attic. Original technician was fantastic. He came out identified the problem mid November and informed me I would need a surveyor to come out and marked the job as urgent. Almost 8 weeks later and 4 no shows from the surveyor and on top of that they then sent a technician again. Not one phone call off them to say they can’t keep the appointment times and 4 days wasted for me waiting about for them. Also was told a manager was calling me and they rang a number that isn’t mine and just before Christmas I was told I’d get a call back after one of the no shows and didn’t get a call then. Absolute shocking experience with these. I’m literally not getting any sleep due to pigeons stomping across my ceiling all night. Very frustrating

Daz came to sort out rat problem. He is very friendly and put our mind at ease as it was very stressful time. He was very thorough and professional and was always there on the phone if you had any questions. Wish all workmen were as thorough and pleasant as he was. A credit to Contego.

Worst pest control ever.

Was contracted to Contego through Evander through my home cover, and I don't know why I bothered.

They lie repeatedly and claim that they've attended and when they are supposed to attend they cancel. They don't answer the phone or respond to any emails.

Based on the other reviews, had they actually attended, I'm not sure they would've done anything then either.
