I have try to cancel my appointment and get my money back because I have the virus. There is no one via telephone or online to speak to. no help, no telephone number. So I have lost £55.00. these are bad people, they take your money and run . I will know better next time to use only people who I can contact, which often mean paying more . They tell you that you can cancel and get refund, on there paper work but give you no way of doing either,.Avoid these people.

This company is clearly a scam.
We ordered 2 tests (£50 each) to enter the UK.
We received only one... furthermore, the Security Seal was broken when we opened the package.

Avoid this company at all costs. I ordered the home testing kit 10 days before I was due to fly out. Completed and posted back using the '24 hour tracked pre paid' envelope exactly 72 hours before flight. 24 hours before flight still no information using the tracking details. Called the company was told they have not received kit from royal mail and for me to chase this up and they could not help me until they received the kit back, and even if they did received the kit by this time they could not provide me with results in time. Called royal mail was told that the company had not registered the prepaid envelope as 24 hour tracked before sending out to me and would therefore be treated as normal post. Contacted assured screening again and demanded a refund which they said they would process but still yet to receive a refund. They are now not answering calls or replying to my email. Had to pay £350 for rapid 4 hour test with results due to the negligence on the part of assured screening for not registering the prepaid envelope. It is worth paying a little more and going with a company who can deliver what they promote, and rectify and compensate for their negligence and the stress and anxiety they cause. I will have to seek my refund through my credit card company now.

Used the 2 day international arrival PCR test service using the drop box at Barnard Castle.
The test kit arrived on Day 0, did the test and got the result back in 18 hours. And that was even after me failing to register the test kit in the beginning. I used the 24/7 chat service and when my question couldn’t be resolved by the automated greeting service I was contacted almost immediately by a service centre rep that helped me out. I’ve used them 3 times now and have always found their service efficient and straight forward.
In summary, great service, competitive price and easy process. I fully recommend assured screening. Thanks to the team! 🤜💥🤛

I would not recommend the travel certificate COVID test for any journey with the 72 hour requirement (which it is marketed as being suitable for). The time margins are too short and the Royal Mail 24 Tracked service it uses to return the test has no delivery time guarantees. In my case return delays meant I missed my flight.
After it became obvious I had missed the flight I tried to get in contact with the lab to at least refund the lab processing fee (this was still before my test had been returned). I tried calling 9 times and wasn't able to get through at all.
If you live in the North East and or can drop it off in person - go for it it looks like a good option. If you don't - find an alternative this one isn't worth the risk & there's very limited customer service if it goes wrong

I am not sure why this company has these few stars. For what it's worth, my experience has been very good, using the branch at Kings Cross, London. My first test was voided but a customer representative was quick at hand to reach out and make a suggestion. Given that I needed the test asap (and the voided one was two days turnaround, fit to fly), I had booked a new appointment and paid for same day result. I communicated this to the customer service rep and was refunded the fee. This was super smoothly and quite generous. The staff at reception at Kings Cross were kind and helpful and Ben and Marc (the customer service reps whom communicated via email) as well. Got my result just in time for my flight abroad. Will use again. Thank you 🙂

My experience has been surprisingly smooth. I ordered the day 2 test and received an email when it was dispatched on my departure day. On the delivery day I received a one hour time slot. The instructions were clear and I paid for a priority postbox which was just down the road. I contacted them through the chat to check about the bank holiday and whether this would cause delays and someone replied straight away. I just received the email with the results (remember to check your junk box). My partner accidentally ordered the wrong test (just a regular 2 day turnaround PCR) which he realised the day before his flight back to England. Unfortunately he couldn't get through to anyone through the chat and there is no phone number. He emailed but the response is 48 hours so in the end he booked a test with a different provider and requested a refund from Assured Screening - which he received! So overall, despite the frustration of not being able to reach customer service for a few hours while abroad, we were both pretty happy with how it went!

Have to comment that everything went very smoothly. Communications was excellent to the point of them informing when the test kit would arrive at your place to the hour.

I had booked a day 2 tests for my daughter for her arrival in the UK and having read the instructions carefully to not mess it up, did the swab test and dropped the package off at the post box nearby. We were then able to track the package and saw that it arrived at their testing centre within 24 hours. Results received within 48 hours. We did anticipated the longer time as it said it would take longer in their FAQ.

Will definitely use them again.
