I was given a set as gift. At first I liked them, but slowly I saw their colors are faded or gone completely. I am not sure if using them is safe? I think the colors faded into my food which it is dangerous. I am not sure about the colors materials and how toxic they can be? I read the specifications and it is saying that they are colored, but didn’t explain what ?

Taylor's Eye Witness Ltd - is truly an Amazing company. When my husband was 21 he was given a double blade penknife as a 21st gift, recently (after 50 years of use) the metal leaf spring that keeps the knife blades open broke. He wanted to try to get the knife repaired, but after contacting numerous knife companies, he could not get the knife repaired or buy a replacement. Just by chance I emailed a company in Sheffield re the knife, they asked me for photos of the knife and information on the damage (to see if it could be repaired) and our address. Early this morning there was a knock on our front door and a delivery person gave me a package, on opening it I found a replacement knife (the exact same model as my husbands knife), supplied to him totally FREE OF CHARGE, as the original knife could not be repaired. What amazing customer service from Emma and an amazing company. Thank you so very, very much...

Dealt with the quality department twice since having my knife set.

On the first occasion a blade came away from the handle after years of use, they sent us a replacement blade no questions asked.

On the second occasion the same thing happened, this time they sent us a complete new set of knifes and blade sharpener.

That's how you look after your customers and that's how you gain more, I have been sure to tell friends and family about the outstanding service we have received.

I've owned my Taylor's Eye Witness kitchen knives and household scissors for 15 years now. Never a problem with them in all that time. There again, they are stamped with Made in Sheffield. 🇬🇧 😉

I brought the rose gold set of knives about 6 or 7 months ago and currently 2 have snapped off from the handle just waiting for the others to go now. Only paid about 30 for them but expected them to last longer than this.

Please do not buy from this company. Luckily I am not hurt but, this could have been a different outcome as the blade caught air. I stood back straight away so avoided injury. A knife should be able to cut a vegetable!!! Disgusted with this quality.

My knives are ground in Sheffield and seem strong and sharp, but with all the ones of theirs that say made in China on the box I do wonder were mine also made in China and merely sharpened in Sheffield? I was trying to buy made in Sheffield and as their reputation is built on made in Sheffield I've become quite disappointed to see all their knives made in China.
