After my computer "crashed" with blue screens a number of times, I tried to "refresh" the computer as a last resort.
It failed.
As I didn't know what else to do myself, I took to computer edge.
I initially left the computer for them to assess. They did a complete re install of the software. I picked it up the following day and unfortunately, I still got blue screens, albeit less frequently.
I returned it to the shop and they took another look at it. They said as it was originally a Windows 10 machine when new, it would need to revert to windows 10 to run correctly.
I was OK with this as all I wanted was to be able to use it without faults.
They did this and it has been working perfectly since.
I'd like to add. As a gesture for not getting it right first time they gave me a second internal hard drive for free.

I would recommend this shop for the no nonsense friendly service and reasonable prices.

Over the years I’ve been using Computer Edge every time I needed anything repairing and I can honestly say their service is second to none.
I had my laptop repaired at the Computer Edge today and I am thoroughly impressed with their service. They managed to fix the issue within 2 hours on the same day, which was incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly & professional, would 100% recommend will be returning again always the best place to go when u need a repair whether that be laptop, phone etc Thank you for the excellent service!

Great service from computer edge to fix my
Child’s iPad. Broken outer screen, inner screen, charger port and home button all repaired. There was also fluid inside. All fixed, cleaned, great contact throughout, safety screen also applied, very reasonable price.

My laptop had crashed and was unuseable. It was repaired within the day, and when I went to collect it, the gentleman spent a long time patiently going through what I needed to know. He also downloaded the programs I regularly used, and gave me a number to ring if I required any help. His price was extremely reasonable, and I have no hesitation in recommending him to people experiencing problems with their computers.

As an update to the above statement, I have since had reason to ask advice from the owner. This was willingly given, and proved to be very useful after-sales service.

The owner is an absolutely amazing person with amazing customer service skills and they always do an amazing job, fixing any and all issues I have. Totally recommend anyone near or far to go if any issue occurs with PCs or anything!!
