I had a great experience today! The staff were very friendly, and the entire process took only nine minutes, from passport check and scan to photo and fingerprints. When I arrived (around 8:30 am approx) there were no queues. I got there an hour early approx, and the staff attended me before my scheduled appointment (I assume bc it was not busy) which was really kind of them. The location was easy to find; I recommend taking the tram and stopping at Salford Quay, as it is the nearest tram station, not Exchange Quay (as Google Maps suggested to me).

To provide more detail about my application process, I submitted my partner visa application on a Friday and was able to book my biometrics appointment for Monday morning (basically the next business day) using the regular service and self-uploading my evidence. I paid for the super priority visa application service, and I received a result from UK Gov after 26 hours after I submitted my biometrics.

Had a great experience at the UKVCAS Service Point in Manchester. The entire process was smooth and hassle-free, with very friendly and professional staff. It only took about 10 minutes for my child’s biometrics, which was super efficient.

One thing to note is that there is only a public car park available on weekends. If you’re struggling to find parking, the McDonald’s parking nearby could be an option. Overall, highly recommend this service point for a quick and stress-free experience!

I have had a very good experience here today. Staff were polite and friendly throughout the different stations. They let me in although I arrived more than 30 minutes before my appointment. The visit took less than 10 minutes, the centre was not busy then. I chose the regular service & submitted everything online before my arrival. The lady who took my photo & fingerprints today (17/12/2024) was very patient and kind.

The location is easy to find.

*My application has been successful. Make sure you scan all pages of your passport(s) because they don't keep it like before so upload it online beforehand.

The service was excellent and highly efficient. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The process was significantly easier than our previous experience a year ago with the other biometric company. Parking was readily available on Saturday, and I paid £10 for the entire day.

This is a new TLS service point.
⚠️‼️Check your appointment confirmation to ensure it’s here rather than city centre branch.‼️⚠️
The location is easy to find with lots of signage.
The staff were friendly and helpful, although seemed a bit new to the process and nervous.
Don’t expect any questions to be answered - they’re just here to take biometric data.
On a Friday morning there were no queues and we were in and out within 15 minutes, ahead of the scheduled appointment time.
We completed the appointment with no issues and the visa was approved on a super priority service. I wouldn’t be anxious again about using this service point.
🚙 There is no parking available - the car park is for permits only. Take the tram - the station is a 5-10 minute walk away.

Genuinely some of the nicest people working here, everyone i interacted with was so kind and patient. I was admittedly quite worried about my appointment because the information offered while applying for my Visa extension weren’t very clear. The staff were happy to take the time to explain the process and reassure me throughout. I arrived approximately 18 minutes before my scheduled biometrics appointment time (they recommend 15 minutes early) and left the building 1 minute before my scheduled appointment (this was for a premium time slot on a Saturday morning).

My wife had her biometric here yesterday. Would have given 5 stars if the website was more interactive. A lack of communication is also a minus. Saving grace is the staff are really friendly and quick. Advice to the other to listen to them properly and your appointment will be smooth.
