What an INCREDIBLE place! We came by here on our way home from a weekend in the area and we're so glad we did! Free entry to an incredible open countryside with free roaming deer!
Walking groups, school groups, families, couples, singles...all made so welcome and such beautiful walks for all ages and abilities.

There were soany volunteers all going round with litter pickers and reporting in on their areas. The whole are was immaculate and perfectly presented. I just wish I had more time here.

The tea room was quaint and well priced...but try to avoid 10:30am as all the volunteers head in for their (very well deserved) morning coffee break 😂😂

Bradgate Park is a true gem in Leicestershire! The sprawling landscapes, historic ruins, and free-roaming deer make it a magical place to visit. Whether you're hiking up to Old John Tower for breathtaking views or enjoying a peaceful picnic by the river, there's something for everyone. The park is well-maintained, and the visitor facilities, like the tearooms, add a nice touch to the experience. It's perfect for families, nature lovers, and history enthusiasts alike. Highly recommend spending a day here!

As a 40 Yr old, I don't think I appreciated how beautiful this park is, since I came when I was a child. The weather was lovely. The car park was almost packed out when we arrived at 11am but luckily managed secure a spot.

I enjoyed walking around and appreciating the beautiful scenery it has to offer. To get close to deers and swans and have the freedom to walk in any direction I wanted. The highlight for me was climbing upto Old John and basking in the amazing view as you will see in the pic. Wonderful day. I would recommend it to anyone.

Bradgate Park is a fantastic place for a relaxing day out, especially in good weather. The park offers scenic trekking trails with a calming atmosphere, making it ideal for nature lovers. Wildlife is a highlight—deer roam freely, and you can spot peacocks, ducks, swans, and geese around the water.

The only downside is the limited public transport. Bus services are infrequent, and getting an Uber can be tricky, so it's best to book in advance. Otherwise, it's a great spot for a peaceful outdoor experience.
